“Sarah, that dress is beautiful on you. I think you should definitely get that one.”  Danielle said to her friend as she walked out of the dressing room.

Sarah had been quiet the last few hours as the two girls walked through different stores inside the crowded mall.  She had been thinking about Harry a lot lately and felt stressed out in the car with Danielle, when she saw the cover of the tabloid newspaper.  Throughout the afternoon, Sarah replayed all the moments that she has shared with Harry. The phone conversations and sweet texts that he would send her about random things he saw that reminded him of her.

She looked at her friend, who was browsing through the jewelry and said, “What would you do if you were me?”

Danielle thought for a minute to herself and her straight lips grew into a smile, “I would live it up. I wouldn’t let any one or any thing stand in my way.  I would jump in with two feet.”

Sarah smiled and took the dress to the register to pay for it.

“You need shoes and jewelry, right?” Sarah asked Danielle and the two girls left the store to continue their journey for an entire new outfit for the Museum exhibit event.

Danielle tried her best to cheer Sarah up, but could tell she was distracted the entire time they were shopping.  She would attempt to crack jokes and ask about her feelings on an ugly dress or pair of shoes, but Sarah would give a sympathetic smile in her direction.  As the girls were getting back into the car, after the long day at the mall, Danielle turned to Sarah and said, “I know I’m your assistant and all, but I consider you one of my closest friends. And you are an amazing person. You deserve to be happy. You have always put others first and its time that you finally think about yourself for once. It seems like he makes you happy.”

Sarah blushed and hugged her friend.  She was lucky to have Danielle in her life and knew she had to speak with Harry about how she was feeling. And she knew she had to say something before the Museum exhibit opening.  Sarah reached into her purse and pulled out her cell phone.

S: Hi – can we talk?

H: Uh Oh. That doesn’t sound good. Want to come over?

S: Yeah. I’ll be there in 30 minutes.

H: See you then
