My owl came flying onto my shoulder with a note tied to his leg, I took it and opened it, already having an idea of who it was from:

Dearest Tina,

I just happen to be staying with my parents over the summer, and would be happy enough to take those Dragon eggs from your hands, you should come for dinner tonight, and you can give me them then. See you then Scamander. 5pm sharp. The Burrow.

Charlie xx

I smiled at the note, me and Charlie weren't exactly best friends, I mean I didn't even know his second name, but with his love of Dragons, I knew he was the best person to give the Dragon eggs too, especially since he could take them back to Romania with him, and they could live a happy life there. I looked at the time. 2.20pm, plenty of time to get ready, and feed the beasts.

At 4.45pm I apperated from my small flat to the burrow and landed just outside of the door. I sighed, I'm not the best at social gatherings, I'm socially awkward and struggle to hold a conversation, but I'm doing this for the dragons. I chapped the door and debated with myself whether I should just leave or not, but I didn't have much of a chance, before a woman with ginger hair answered the door. "You must be Tina" she smiled pulling me into a hug. My eyes went wide, I was not a people person never mind a hugger. She pulled away, still smiling. " and you are Mrssss" dragging out the 'Mrs' because I had no clue what Charlie's second name was. "Weasley dear, but call my Molly" she turned away to go in and my face dropped. Weasley. That means. "You?" I looked up to see Ron Weasley looking at my as if I was a ghost. I smiled awkwardly looking down hoping Charlie would come save me. "Scamander" I looked up again and smiled. "Charlie"

He didn't hug me knowing how awkward I was which I was thankful for. He led me through to the seating area were everyone was. Ron looked horrified, I followed his eyes to my pocket, where Tommy was trying to see out, I quickly pushed him back into my pocket giving Ron an awkward smile, looking down. "So everyone this is Tina Scamander" Charlie introduced me, some girl with brown fuzzy hair jumped up, who I recognized to be Hermione Granger. "Oh my goodness, you must be related to Newt Scamander the author of" I cut her off "Fantastic beasts and where to find them, yes he's my grandfather" I awkwardly smiled as she placed her hand out for me to shake, I took her hand shaking it awkwardly. "You can sit with me and tell me all about him" she smiled grabbing my hand and sitting me next to her at the table. I looked at Charlie for help, and he sat down at the other side of me. "This is Ron" he pointed at him
"His wife Hermione who you have met"
"My sister Ginny, and her husband Harry"
"My Father, Arthur"
"Harry Potter" I smiled as he smiled back "Hey Tina, I haven't saw you since school" he stood up and I also did giving him a hug. You may be confused to why I am so awkward but gave Harry Potter a hug. Well he was the one of the only people to speak to me at school, and also was the person who stuck up for me when my bullies when, well you know, bullied me. "You went to our school?" Ron asked confused to why he never saw me, I awkwardly nodded. "She was in Hufflepuff" Harry answered. Everyone took a minute to try and remember where they had seen me. I started to read there thoughts

'How have I never saw her at school'

'Surly we would have saw her somewhere'

'What's in her pocket'

Something you may not know, is my grandmother's sister Queenie Goldstein, had a certain ability, Legilimency, this was the ability to read people's minds. I wasn't the greatest at it, I only inherited the ability a couple of years before the war. It still wasn't extremely strong. I had never really told anyone about it, especially after the war, plus I hadn't really had many friends to tell, my only friend was Luna Lovegood, and even then the only reason we were friends was because she was married to my brother. "I was quiet at school" I answered smiling awkwardly again, I do that a lot. "Who were you're friends at school?" Hermione asked trying to find some connection of who I was. "Oh I didn't have any, people found me annoying" I smiled sitting back down again, staring at the table. People looked at me but decided not to ask anything else, and began their own conversations. "Everyone dinner, someone get George" Mrs Weasley said bringing the food out to the table. Charlie disappeared to get someone named George, I assume another brother, whilst everyone started to help themselves to the food in the middle of the table. "Are you not hungry dear?" Mrs Weasley asked noticing I didn't have anything on my plate. I smiled whilst taking some food out onto my plate. I looked down to my pocket and noticed Tommy wasn't there. I panicked looking around. He was standing on the stairs. "May I use your bathroom?" I asked. "It's upstairs on your left" Hermione smiled. I jumped up and tried to spot Tommy, seeing him walk up the stairs. I quickly walked up trying to grab him, but he was too fast. "Tommy" I whispered, he turned around and waved before running off again, I crawled along the stairs trying to catch him out by surprise. I slowly put my arm out when he was looking at which way to go, and grabbed him, rolling onto my back, so I could see him in my hands. "Gotcha" I smiled at him, as he sighed folding his arms. "Uh Tina?" I looked up to see Charlie, and wait, is that the boy from the store? I jumped up quickly throwing Tommy into my pocket and smiled. "Oh hey" I smiled, Charlie looked at me with an eyebrow raised. "This is my other brother George" he introduced me to the boy. I smiled "Tina."
Charlie headed down the stairs and I started to follow him, before my arm was grabbed by George. "You know there's no other store in Disgon Ally, which sells love potions" he said, I looked up "um sorry, I was uh running away from an ex" I lied. He looked sort of guilty letting me hand go, now understanding why I was ducked down in his store. "Oh sorry" he brushed by me walking down the stairs and I followed behind. I tried to read his mind, but I had no luck. He was feeling hurt, and heartbroken. Which was blocking my way into his thoughts. I decided it was none of my business and continued down the stairs.

"So dear what is it you do?" Mrs Weasley asked, sitting at the dinner table. Everyone's attention was on me. Great. "I uh used to work at the ministry, but recently left" I took a sip of water hoping they wouldn't ask anything else. "Why did you leave?" Mr Weasley asked. I looked down at my plate of food. "Just some complications" I smiled at Mr Weasley.
"What department did you work in?" He asked "oh i worked with Magical creatures I guess"
"You guess?" Hermione asked
"Yeah" I smiled again, looking back down at my food hoping this conversation was over. "So what are you doing now then?" Hermione asked "jobless" I replied "you know their looking for someone in George's store, a greeter" Ron said smiling. "Do I look like a people person?" I asked him he laughed "you could work in the stock room" he said. "We aren't looking for anyone in the stock room" everyone looked up as George spoke. Why was everyone so surprised he spoke? "George I can't do everything in the store on top of my other job" Ron moaned. George sighed, he felt guilty. I felt it in his thoughts, but I couldn't get through to why. "Fine she can come in for a trial shift" George spoke. I tried to protest when Charlie cut in. "Well it's settled, go for a trial and see if you like it" Charlie placed his hand on my shoulder. I sighed knowing I was too awkward to say no.
