Kacy felt the cold rain against her face.
It felt of hail or snow, because it was so cold.
She wrapped her hands and arms around her body and shivered.
"Brrr," she mumbled, her body shaking rapidly. Kacy began to wonder how anybody could live in the forest. How could anybody stand going to the bathroom in temperatures like these- outside? How could anybody say like an animal? How could anybody to anything?
She thought about these questions as she found a log to go on. She went to the bathroom, the she stood up. She was on a steep hill, that lead down to a river. It was a fast moving river, with some bits of ice in it. Rocks were all up and down the hill, along with mud. Lots and lots of mud.
Kacy remembered the police coming and her having to cover up in mud.
Kacy shivered again, not out of the cold, but out of fear and terror.
She stared at the mud in remembrance of it plastered to her skin and hair.
"Ugh," whispered Kacy, walking back toward the cave. But what she didn't notice was the log in front of her. She tripped on it and fell backwards. Kacy slid down the hill on her back then splashed in to the river. Now, not only was she cold, she was wet. And, also, not only was her cut on her hand the only thing that hurt, her knee did too. She cried out in pain.
This was the very worst day of my life, thought Kacy, crawling out of the water soaked.
She examined her knee. There were no cuts, yet it hurt.
Kacy sighed and attempted to stand up, but plopped right back down.
"No," she groaned. What if she had a broken leg? What if she had fractured her knee? So many things could've been wrong. The only thing that was within Kacy's power, was: screaming for help.
So she screamed for Rana.
"Rana!" screamed Kacy from the top of her lungs. "I need you!"
She started to cry once again, as she waited for Rana.
"Rana!" screamed Kacy once again. "Rana!"
She saw Rana rush out of the cave and down the hill.
"Goodness gracious, what's wrong?" exclaimed Rana, grabbing and pulling Kacy out of the river. Kacy eyes went a bit blurry as she was being pulled out of the river.
"I fell down the hill," mumbled Macy quietly.
"How?" asked Rana, examining Kacy's body. "What hurts?"
"Tripped," moaned Kacy, weakly. Then, she pointed to her left knee. "My knee."
Rana examined Kacy's knee carefully. "Okay, let's get you back to the cave."
"How?" spluttered Kacy, spitting water out of her mouth. She wasn't to sure of how Rana would get her back to the cage. She didn't want to be carried it dragged, but one of those was surely the answer.
And sure enough, Rana said, "I'll carry you!" she smile brightly as she lifted Kacy up. Rana placed Kacy on her back and walked slowly up the slope.
"I shouldn't have left her to go wondering by herself," whispered Rana, sharply. She was talking to herself, and obviously was talking about Kacy, who had managed to get herself hurt.
Kacy felt guilty. She had just cause Rana do much trouble, and now Rana had to carry her up a steep hill!
Kacy sighed and rubbed her watery eyes. Rana's black leather jacket was wet from carrying Kacy's soaked body.
"Are you cold?" yawned Kacy, her eyes starting to droop.
Rana yawned herself. "A bit, yes," she admitted, doing a small shrug. "But I'll be fine."
Kacy felt like a 6 year old child again, be carried by this motherly figure. She rested her head on Rana's broad shoulder and yawned once again.
"Where will we sleep?" whispered Kacy, closing her eyes.
"I'll pull out the sleeping bags and we'll sleep in those," Rana quieted her voice to a whisper as she realized Kacy was drifting asleep. Once they had made it up the hill and in to the cave, Rana pulled out the sleeping bags and tucked Kacy in one.
"We'll examine you're leg more tomorrow, alright?" said Rana, saying it more of demand not a question.
"Alright," yawned Kacy, stretching out her arms. Rana kissed her forehead and Kacy winced a bit, but soon feel asleep.
"Good night, Princess," whispered Rana when she knew Kacy, her little Princess, was asleep,
