Chapter 8

Ban, King, Gowther, and Hawkeye got settled in immediately. And since no one had anything to do, Ban decided to try and teach Meliodas how to cook. The other Avengers came to see how Meliodas could make something taste so bad.

"Alright, let's get started." Ban announced. There were various items on the table, and they were all ingredients to an apple pie. "Step One: peel the skin of an apple."

Meliodas used Lostvayne to chop up the whole thing, and he did it in the air so the apple slices fell to the floor.

"You just had to peel it not chop the whole thing!" Wasp yelled.

Then Meliodas and Gowther started picking it up.

"Don't pick it up off the floor!" Ban reprimanded.

Gowther then set a bowl of flower on the table, and the next step was to add a pinch of salt. Meliodas added a handful of salt.

"What was that, it said a pinch!" Tony shouted.

Now Meliodas was mixing it up.

"Captain that's supposed to be after you've added water!" King exclaimed.

Next up was stretching the dough. Meliodas stretched it like it was a pizza.

"We're not making a pizza Meiodas!" Steve said.

Gowther and Meliodas were now filling the dough with apples.

"You do know those apples need to be cut right?" Panther questioned.

"You can't do anything right!" Ban yelled. Wasp sighed at the whole situation. Now they understood why Meliodas' cooking was so bad. He does not pay attention to the instructions. Like at all.

When the pie came out of the oven it looked really good.

"That actually doesn't look half bad." Tony commented in shock.

"Unbelievable." Ban muttered.

"Don't fall for its trickery." Thor warned.

"I payed extra attention to that last part." Meliodas smiled.

"You should pay attention to all of it." Hawkeye stated.

"Well time to dig in guys." Meliodas exclaimed, then he started looking around at the others. "Anyone hungry? King?"

"Uh I've a stomach ache since this morning so I can't."

"Tony?"

"I just ate I'm not really that hungry."

"You master Ban?"

"I'd rather die."

"How 'bout you Jan?"

"I told you last time I would rather eat dirt."

"What do ya say Steve?"

"Um, I'm on a pretty strict diet so I'll have to pass."

"Well someone has to eat it. Then we won't know if it's actually good." Meliodas said.

"We'll probably get food poisoning from it." Wasp mumbled.

"I would agree with you on that Jan but there's no way this counts as food." Tony told her as he examined the pie.

"Who in their right or crazy mind would-"

Hawkeye was cut off when he heard chewing. Hulk just entered the kitchen and was starting to eat Meliodas' pie, not knowing or seeing how it was made.
