chapter 24

it's my due date today so pip demanded that she looked after me for the next few days. I said that i would be fine but she wanted to look after me. all day i've been feeling off and i felt a strong stomachache and pip quickly identified it as a contraction. saying as they weren't frequent yet we stayed at my apartment however soon they became super intense. They were closer together and strong. A few minutes later my water broke so we rushed to the hospital. I was really scared because it hurt really bad. we had both tried multiple times to call Ant but he just didn't pick up. pip had rang lin to tell him to find Ant saying as he can't answer his phone.
~Ant pov~
Jasmine is at my place. I know that isn't the best idea because every time we're alone something always happens. we were in the middle of making out when there's a knock on my door. i open it to see Lin clearly angry. "yo what's wrong?" i ask him. "don't you ever answer your phone?" he questions. "what are you talking about?" i ask. "if you had have answered your phone you would know that olivia is giving birth right now and you're here making out with jasmine" he says angrily. "oh shit" i say as i grab my coat and leave with him.

~Liv pov~
another contraction tore through me. the doctor told me it was time to push and i don't care if Ant was here or not but this baby needed to come out now because it was too painful. Pip has been super supportive through this whole day. A couple of pushes later a cry fills the room. "it's a girl" the doctor says before the baby is placed on my chest. "hi baby" i say trying to soothe her. "omg she's so cute" pip says. We both admire her until she is taken to get cleaned up. with that pip's phone rings. she leaves the room to answer it and the doctor finishes with me.
~Pip pov~
my phone rings and it's lin. (bold lin normal pips)

Have you found him?
Yeah he's here
yeah well he has just missed the birth of his daughter. just get him here to the hospital as quickly as possible.
we're like 5 mins away. is Livs okay?
yeah she's just upset that Ant missed is daughters birth.
I'll tell you why when i got there

He better have a good explanation as to why he couldn't answer his phone. I walk back into the room to see Livs sat there with her daughter wrapped up in a blanket.

~Livs pov~
Pip walked back into the room and asked "have you thought of a name". there was one name i had in mind. it's was off when me and any first started dating. we had a conversation and i said i liked the name Amelia and he agreed. Amelia has a special place in my heart because when i was pregnant in my previous relationship i was gonna call my daughter that. "i think i'm gonna call her Amelia" i tell her and she looked super happy.
About 10 minutes passed and there was a knock at the door. pip opened it and said "how long has it took you to get here". she opens the door fully to show Ant and Lin there. Ant rushed over to see his daughter in a little cot. lin walked over and asked "how are you?". i replied " i'm fine but giving birth is so much harder than it looks". Any says "She's soo cute".
"where were u?" i ask. "i'm sorry but i was with someone" he replied. "who?" i ask. "jasmine" he says. "you're not helping yourself. you missed the birth of you child so you could make out with jasmine?" i say clearly angry. "have you thought of a name?" lin asks changing the subject. "well i liked the name Amelia" i say. "that's a cute name. i like that name" Ant says. so that's what we agreed on. time passed and Lippa had went to get some food for us leaving me and Ant alone.
"look i'm sorry for not being here. but i wanna have a conversation. i miss us" he says. "look ant 8 months ago when we decided to go on this break i thought that in 2 months we would be back together and everything would be back on track. but are we just too far gone?" i say sadly. "but i want us to be family" he replies. "if you want us to be a family then why were you making out with jasmine a couple of hours ago?" i ask. "i'm sick and tired of this happening. you always running to jasmine" i tell him. "i'm sorry alright" he says loudly. " i'm sorry i wish she never existed because she's always the one that rips us apart" he says in a sad voice . i feel a tear fall but i quickly wipe it away. "I just want to give our daughter the best life" he says. "we will" i say. " but that doesn't necessarily mean that we need to be together. Ant i'm sorry but i don't think i could go through it all again. I don't want to have to be worried about if you're alone with jasmine when i have a baby to look after." before we could say anything else Lippa came in with food. After we ate the food i was told we could leave. we packed everything and left. I got in pips car and ant got in lins. me and Pip got to my apartment first. i got Amelia and Pip got the bags. "Hey baby, this is where me and you are gonna live" i say. i know she won't understand but i give her a little apartment tour before Ant and lin arrive. we all go to sit in the lounge when Amelia starts crying. Ant says he'll go. he comes back with her in his arms as he gives her a bottle. I'm not gonna lie he did look cute with her in his arms. he looked so happy to be with his daughter. But thy conversation we had is still burning in my brain.
