Potions

Evie awoke startled. The sunlight mesmerized in . Her alarm struck at 6 am and she got dressed in her robes trying not to wake Padma who was still sleeping. Luna  was no where to be seen. She took a shower in the cubicles for each dorm and put on her robes. As she stepped out ready for a new day , Padma  just rolled out of bed.  

"Hurry up Padma ,its already 7 am." Evie ordered.  Padma ran to get ready after Evie told her the time.

"Morning" Luna walked in already dressed. 
"Where have you been?" Evie demanded.
" I was exploring ,this is a very pretty place."
"I am so confused how 'different' people are in this house " Evie implied.

"You know that includes you" Padma shouted from the cubicles. Evie sighed. The blue curtains rustled. 

"What do you have first lesson, I have potions?"  Luna asked in her high voice. "I have potions" answered Evie rustling through her stuff. "Same, so does my sister"Padma said checking her phone.

  "You have a sister?" Evie and Luna said at the same time.
"Yeah ,her name is Parvati  she is in Gryffindor " 
"You have a sister?!!!"they both exclaimed.
"Why are you so surprised about this ?" Padma asked rhetorically whilst playing with the blue curtains.
"Come on we have to get to breakfast "Evie exclaimed. Luna spat out some water.
"What are you wearing?" Luna questioned .
"Clothes obviously, gosh Luna you're so slow "Evie said strutting in her blue heels. She was wearing a ripped skirt,no tie , artificial nails and barracks of makeup.
"You are not going out like that , you're going to get all of us detention " Padma restricted slamming the door.
"I have nothing else.... and this looks good on me " Evie explained smiling .
Luna took out some spare clothes.
"Ewww are those loafers " Evie said disgusted.
"No miss America they're brogues "Padma sighed rolling her eyes.
After she got into her new clothes,  she checked the mirror.
"I look like a boarding school chicken " Evie moaned. "Maybe she is one "Padma whispered .Luna laughed .
"Don't laugh , you dress like a thrift shop" Evie said brutally.
AT BREAKFAST IN THE GREAT HALL,
Everyone was eating breakfast. The hall smelt like English breakfast and lavender. Evie had an omelette and a waffle, Luna had a bowl of oatmeal with fruits and Padma had a vegetarian sausage. The owls dropped of copies of the daily prophet and mail. Evie didn't bring an owl instead she brought a black cat called peppermint .
"Thank you twilight " Luna said softly to her snowy owl .
Padma's owl, violet, also dropped her mail .
Out of the white owls flew in 4 black ones . Evie didn't bother to thank the owl.
She realized before she could open the letter wrapped in black parchment the other owls had gone to the other house tables...Two went to Carlos and Jay who were also looking concerned. She stared at mal who was cackling with her friends opening the letter.
"E, you in there" Luna said snapping her out of it.
Evie closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
She opened the letter shaking to know what she sent her.
"E, we need to go to potions ,we have got Snape "Padma claimed terrified."

Students started to disperse.
Evie put the letter back in without reading it and rushed out of the hall with her friends.

AT POTIONS WITH PROFFESSOR SNAPE.

Evie looked around ,whilst everyone was waiting for professor Snape. Padma was talking to her sister,and Luna sat beside her sewing. Then she got up to talk to a Hufflepuff boy with brown hair . Evie recognized some familiar faces. Carlos was sitting beside a boy with brown hair . Mal was also there with Pansy and Daphne. And also ....Draco. Evie looked around completely ignoring Mal. Ben was not here neither was Jay. 

"SILENCE" A voice snapped. Evie turned around to see a teacher with dark beady eyes and a stone like face. He stomped in with only the noise of his black leather shoes making a noise. He had his eyes fixed on the students. He sat on his chair dead silent.
