The autumn sun was setting . The wind howled trapping the warmth in its shadow. The sky was a dirty grey. It started to drizzle a little with British climate making its way through. She abscond through the isolated grassland . The sound of her panting echoed around the ambience . She skidded through the mud being formed by the consistent dusting. She took a sharp turn towards the overcast courtyards . A feeble sound of breathing broke her ears. She stood there dead silent . After a moment ,she narrowed her eyes then went up to him. His white hair concealing ,a streak of black wisped in the wind. His robes slightly run down and his knees and palms scarred. "Carlos ..."She bawled. He whimpered in pain. He lifted his head up. His cheek was bruised and eyes were blood red . "Where's Jay, why did he punch you?, what's wrong?" she exclaimed. He just said nothing . "Answer me" Evie begged. A tear accommodated on his red cheek. Evie knew what had happened because it happened to her before. She sat next to him and her eyelashes looked down . "He's changed ,hasn't he?" she confessed. He sighed as his tears fell down on his robes.

"Its hurts a lot doesn't it , your eye and being hurt by a friend ,now tell me what happened" she worried. The silence stood there.

"Nothin-"He was interrupted.

"The truth "Evie commanded.

It started to rain a little heavier. He was about to get but she grabbed his hand before he could leave.

"We are going to stay here until you tell me what happened Carlos de vil" She looked staring at him. "

"Its not important "Carlos argued.

"Its important , I'm listening ,You know I'm not going to let you go" Evie exclaimed.

He sighed "Ever since.... Ever since I got into Hufflepuff, everything's changed, Jay has changed, we-"he stammered.

"We? "Evie asked.

"Justin and Neville my housemates-" Carlos explained.

"Why didn't they stick up for you and -" Evie ranted.

"E...."Carlos pleaded.

"Sorry I'm listening" Evie admitted. They were both getting soaked.

"He came in a group and we got into an argument and.....You and mal stayed the same when you got into different houses "Carlos stammered at his tears were still rolling down. The rain droplets covered his heart. They landed between the space between them. The silence rested . A sudden knot came in Evie's throat ,a tear cascaded out of her eye.

"Evie, are you ..okay?" Carlos asked concerningly.

"I'm fine, its nothing should we talk inside lets go "she said eradicating her tear and smiling.

"I told you ,you tell me " Carlos beckoned crossing his arms. She sighed.

"Everyone thinks everything's perfect , Mals changed too I guess with Pansy and Draco....its hard but .....it doesn't matter." Evie stated trying not to sound pathetic and concealing her emotions.

"It matters to me" Carlos murmured. They sat there stilly for a second. It started pouring it down.

"We should get inside "Evie laughed opening her hands.

"Thanks E for listening" Carlos thanked.

"Thanks for listening too" Evie thanked. They smiled.

Evie and Carlos headed back to their common rooms . Evie answered the riddle as normal :

'What has many keys but can't open a single lock?'

What could it possibly be? To her surprise ,she knew. She walked close to the door.

"A piano" she whispered.

It opened. And she had company.

'A lot of the worlds problems would disappear if we talk to each other instead of about each other"
