JJ and I were making our way to John B's house to hang out with him and the others for a hang out night. I wasn't going to wear anything too fancy since were probably gonna hang in the boat and drink a little for fun. Before going to John B's house, JJ and I went to go get a few snacks in case we got hungry.

Opening the door to the store, we were hit with a cool breeze. "So refreshing" I said as I walked in and went to the snack sections. "What are we getting?" JJ followed behind me. "Maybe candy and chips?" He nodded before looking at the drink section. I grabbed two party chip bags and a few candies. My hands were full and I was struggling to hold the items all at once.

"Need a basket?" I looked behind me to see a worker here. "Yes, thank you!" I smiled before placing all the items in the basket.

"Would it be too forward if i said you were beautiful?" I was flustered by his comment. "A little bit but thank you." I gently held the basket. Before going to look for JJ the man grabbed my hand. "My name is Marcus by the way." I looked at his name tag and nodded. "Your ass- I mean, you look great in those shorts." I was wearing a white tank top with ripped short jeans. "Thank you?" He began walking closer to me. Moving back, I found myself cornered. "What's a beautiful girl like you doing all alone?" He smirked, his hand about to grab ahold of my hips. "Actually I came with-"

"Hey babe! Who's this?"

I sighed in relief when the guy backed away from me. I looked at JJ who forced a smile. "Hey man.." Marcus said. JJ looked at his name tag. "Marcus! What're you doing with my girlfriend?" He shook his head. "Just helping!" He said before letting out a nervous chuckle. "Helping? helping yourself getting in her pants?" Marcus blinked a few times before going to the staff rooms.

"JJ you literally just saved my life. That guy was bothering-" JJ grabbed my hand and pulled me in for a kiss. He gently pulled away and smirked at Marcus who was watching the scene in front of him from the small window view in the door. "Since you tried getting in my girlfriends pants i'll be taking these for free aight mate?" JJ said loudly to him and left with a sigh once Marcus gently nodded.

"I hate letting you go to places alone, some people have to know that not everyone is single." He said, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "So then why didn't you think of that before asking me out at the diner?"

He opened his mouth but nothing came out of it. Instead, he closed his mouth and let out a laugh. "Be quiet.."
