5 - Change

2 months have passed. Jungkook and Jane's relationship is getting better. He didn't touch her as much as before.

At Home

It's showing 7pm in the evening. At that time Jane is already at home and currently busy cooking a dinner for Jungkook. 10 minute later, Jungkook arrived and as soon as he entered the house, he spoke

"I'm going to wash first."

"Okay."

At Dining Table

Jane POV

"Let's eat."

"Uhm.."

As we eating, I asked him

"How's your day?"

"Good. Wae?"

"Nothing. Just asking."

"Okay one more question."

He only looked at me. So I just continue

"Do you love me?"

"No."

Then I stop speaking.

"Wae? You like me?"

"No. But.."

"What?"

"I admit when you are around I do feel safe."

After we ate, I went to clean the kitchen while Jungkook stayed in the living room watching TV. As I'm cleaning, I heard Jungkook called me

"Noona.. your phone is ringing."

"Who is that?"

"I don't know."

"Just let it be."

After I'm done, I go to the living room and as soon as I sit on the couch, my phone rings. But, when I saw my phone, it was a number that I've ignored since last month.

"Why didn't you pick it up?"

"I don't want to."

"Who is that?"

"I don't know."

"Just pick it up. Maybe it's something urgent from the company."

"No. Let it be."

"It's annoying. Let me pick it up."

"No!"

But I was too late. Jungkook already answered the phone

"Hello?"

But there's no response.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Hello?"

Then the phone calls were cut off.

"Buya? This person cut it off. Nugu ya?"

"I don't know. Some pervert I guess."

"What?"

"This person has called me so many times. So that's why I don't pick it up?"

"So it's a guy?"

"Yeah."

Without noticing it, Jungkook looked at me. So, I just realize what I'm saying to him.

"Look.. I'm sorry but I really don't know who this person is. I.. I'm not lying. Please trust me. I never met any guys."

"Fine."

Then Jungkook left without looking at me.

Since that night, Jungkook has kept his distance from me. I don't know where my fault is. I keep apologising to him and explain that I really don't know who it was. At the same time, after that night also, I didn't feel right. I mean, I feel there's someone looking at me, especially when I'm off from work. I believe and have guts that there's someone following and eyeing on me. I felt scared.

My anxiety gets worse when that person keeps calling me over and over again. Plus, lately Jungkook is busy with his work and always comes back home late or sometimes does not return home. I try to tell him about this but he never listens to me and gives me his attention.

So tonight, I felt very scared. Jungkook not come home yet so I try call him

"Uhm?" he answer

"Hello? What time will you come back home?"

"I don't know. Why?"

"Ani.. can you come back now? I was scared."

"Scared?"

"Yeah.. I guess there's someone outside of our house."

"Jane.. just sleep okay? It's nothing."

"But..."

"Sleep. I will come home."

"Can you make it fast? I am really scared now. Please."

40 minutes later, Jungkook finally returned home. As soon as he enter the house, he looking for Jane

"Jane?"

During that time, Jane is still awake because she is very scared. She was hiding in her room with some stick on her hand.

Jungkook went to her room and as he opened the door, he being surprised by Jane

"Jane?!"

"Jungkook?"

"Why do you hold that?" (she is holding a baseball bat)

"No. It was.. I heard some noise outside just now."

"It's nothing."

"Really? Have you checked?"

"God. Jane.. It's really nothing. Go sleep now."

"But..can you sleep next to me then?"

"What? No"

"I'm scared."

"Look.. nothing happened, okay? And everything's safe. Don't think about it."

"But I do believe there's someone following me."

"Who will do that?"

"I don't know."

"It's just you hallucination."

"Fine. I hate you."

Then Jane pushed Jungkook outside from her room.

Next morning, as they having their breakfast, there's something Jungkook want to tell Jane

"I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I'm going to Japan for this whole week."

"No. Don't leave me."

"It's my work."

"No.."

"Jane.. nothing bad will happen okay?"

Jane become silent for a while before answer

"Okay."
