19 - Back Off

Since that day, Jungkook and Jane's relationship has become a bit awkward and tense. Jungkook confused why suddenly she acted like that. Everytime he asks, she will answer that she doesn't love Jungkook anymore. But Jungkook has a feeling it's not related to it.

Apart from that, he asked Namjoon and his other friends to investigate this. Plus, he also asked Mr Lee and Halmoni to take a look at Jane and also remind them to tell him if she had talked about anything to them.

Hence, he always comes home late just to know what is going on to her.

Jungkook's House

When Jungkook came home, it was already at 2am. After he cleaned up, he lay next to sleeping Jane. Jane is sleeping on her side facing Jungkook. Then Jungkook stroked Jane's hair and said, "What happened? Why didn't you want to tell me?"

2 days later, when Jungkook was about to going to his work, Halmoni stopped him

"Jungkook?"

"Ne Halmoni, what's wrong?"

"Aniya.."

"Uhmm.. anything about Jane?"

"I guess..

"What?"

"I guess.. she.."

"It's okay Halmoni, just tell me."

"I guess that person has appeared again."

"Who?"

"The one who attacked her before."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm just guessing cause she really looks different now and plus she has told me..

"What did she say?"

"She didn't say anything. But she just said that she is scared and...

"And?"

"Crying.."

"Oh God. When she told you?"

"About 2 days ago. She didn't say much she just said she is scared that's all. She is trembling so much as I'm hugging to comfort her. I guess that must be that person. He's the only who can make Jand become like that unless you.."

"I will not hurt Jane. She is too precious to me and I don't want to leave her."

"I know."

Time Skip

As Jungkook at his office, he received a phone call from Namjoon

"Uhm hyung.. any info about Jane?"

"It seems someone is threatening her."

"What?"

"That person asked Jane to leave you if not, he will hurt and do some bad thing to you."

"Oh God, Jane... So, what should we do?"

"Just take care of Jane. She might be hurt by this person too. I will think about how to get rid of this person."

"Okay hyung. Thank you."

"Alright Jungkook. I will help as much as I can."

Jungkook's House

As Jungkook reaches home, he immediately looks for Jane. During this time, Jane was standing outside of their bedroom's veranda. He looked for a while to his wife from behind. She looked sad and she thought off somewhere. So, he got closer to her and hugged her from behind. It makes Jane start. Jungkook hugged his wife tightly and with love

"Uh? Jungkook?" Jane spoke

"I'm sorry.." Jungkook said while closing his eyes and resting his head on Jane's shoulder.

"Hey.. what's wrong?" Jane asked worriedly.

"Don't move."

"Hey.." Jane spoke softly and turned her head to the side where Jungkook resting his head on her shoulder and put her palm on Jungkook's left cheek

"Jungkook.. hey.. what's wrong? Uhm?"

But Jungkook still didn't drop any tea

"Jungkook.." Jane still asked him worriedly

"I'm sorry"

"Hey.. for what? You didn't do anything wrong to me."

"I did."

"Jungkook.."

"Why are you hiding it from me?"

"What am I hiding?"

"I know you did this to protect me right?"

Jane looks forward and becomes silent.

"Jane... Jane?"

"Uh?"

Jungkook turns her body facing him. He is holding both of Jane's hand and softly said

"You didn't have to do this."

Jane starts to cry. Jungkook wipe her tears before continued his word

"I love you Jane. I don't want to lose you. You are important to me. I know you did this to protect me but I can't Jane. I can't without you."

"He will hurt you Jungkook. I can't. I don't want you to get hurt."

Then he hugged Jane and making her cry become loud

"Sshh.. okay, okay. Everything will be fine okay? I promise. I will not let him hurt me and you."

"No Jungkook.."

"Hey, hey.. stop okay? I'll make sure he will not disturb us again. No need to worry, okay?"

Jane didn't answer

"Uhm?"

Jane only nodded.

"Okay.. let's go inside. You are cold."
