9 - Sudden Treatment

After that night, Jane didn't feel good. Her face looks pale but she keeps saying that she is okay. Jungkook noticed that and felt bad about it. He doesn't know why he acted like that, especially when someone was closer to her. He don't like it

Jungkook POV

Today, he had a gathering with his members. This is their first time meet with each other with full members since 6 months ago and after Jungkook married and Jin and Suga engagement (I make Yoonjin ship here)

As they all happily talking about each other suddenly Jin asked Jungkook a question

"You haven't gone on a honeymoon yet don't you Kookie?"

"What?" Hoseok interrupt

"Don't call me Jin hyung."

"Okay sorry. But.. you didn't don't you?"

Jungkook only nodded.

"Ya! You should bring Jane to the honeymoon. What kind of husband are you?" Hoseok gave his lecture to his little brother.

"Is that even necessary?"

"Of course it is." Hoseok seems didn't believe what Jungkook has done.

"Even if you didn't love her, at least try to make her happy." Suga reminds him.

Jungkook's House

3 days later, as Jungkook and Jane having dinner together, Jungkook spoke

"Let's go on a honeymoon."

Aa Jane heard about it, she stopped for a while before answering

"It's okay. You don't have to do that."

"But I want to."

"No. You are busy don't you?"

"Taehyung and Hoseok can handle it."

"I guess.. n-no.."

"Where do you want to go?"

"Jungkook.. I said no.."

Everytime Jane want to speak, Jungkook is the one who cut out

"Australia?"

"Up to you."

"We'll go this week."

On D-Day they went on their honeymoon

Today Jane is not working while Jungkook will have a half day of work. But there's something emergency at the office that makes him late to come back home. As for that, he has told Jane to head to the airport first later he will follow her.

Their flight was at 4:00pm and Jane went 2 hours early. She hate being rushed and everything was ready (her and Jungkook stuff)

There's 45 minutes left before their departure but Jungkook still cannot be seen. Their flight is also being called already. She has tried to call him but he is not picking it up. So, she just decided to go into the cabin first.

As she sat at her seat and get prepared so that it will be a comfortable journey, she heard someone saying and then turned her head to that sound

"I'm sorry."

It was Jungkook who just had a sort of breathing due to running. Jane didn't give any response so Jungkook just sat beside her. As Jungkook was still breathing, Jane headed him a small bag.

"Here is your stuff."

"Oh! Thank you."

Jane didn't talk much and Jungkook noticed about it. So he asked

"Are you mad?"

Jane turned her head towards Jungkook

"No."

"So why didn't you talk to me?"

"Nothing. Just... just don't know what to say and I don't want to disturb you."

"I'm sorry. There's something happening at the office just now."

"It's fine."

"But I keep you waiting."

"It's okay. I'm fine."

During the flight, Jane falls asleep while Jungkook is busy continuing his job. As Jungkook took a rest for a minute, he noticed Jane was awake and didn't feel comfortable.

"What's wrong? Chuo?"

"Uhm.."

"Here.. take my blanket. (she already put a blanket but it's still cold for her)"

"No, no, no. it's for you."

"But.."

"It's okay. You are getting cold too."

"Uhm.. sleep more. Probably we will arrive 3 hours more."

Jane stared at Jungkook for a while before  falling back to sleep back. Jungkook did the same thing too. He only looked at sleepy Jane. As Jane closes her eyes, Jungkook keeps her eyes on her and then gently pushes Jane's hair from her face. As he stared at her, he noticed some bruises on her arms. He is curious about that.

1 hours later, they are about to arrive. Jane also already wakes up and same goes to Jungkook. During that flight, he only took a nap for 1 and a half hours. As they waiting to touch down, Jungkook spoke out

"Can I ask you something?"

Jane turned her head and looked at Jungkook but she didn't say anything. Then, Jungkook just continue his word

"Where do you get that bruise?"

As Jungkook asked that question, he noticed there's some changes in Jane's expression. Plus Jane also moves away from her head and looks at the front. At the same time, Jungkook also remembered that he is the only one who touched Jane. So he ask

"Is it me?"

But Jane keeps herself quiet and that's making Jungkook more sure that it must be because of him.

"Look., I'm very sorry about that. I'm really really sorry. I didn't mean.. I mean.. I-I"

"Jungkook..stop.."

"But that must be hurt."

"Jungkook... it's okay."

"No.. it's not okay.. I'm sorry okay? I'm really sorry."

"Jungkook I said stop"

"Did that bruise appear every time we.."

Jane became silent which actually she didn't want to remember those nightmare.

"Okay, I'm sorry. But.. the day you got a red scratch mark on your neck and bruise on your both arms is not me right? The day I went to Japan."

Suddenly Jane remembers the day she was attacked from that jerk. It made her close her eyes tightly and was about to cry. She didn't want to think about that because it was so scary for her. She's a little but shaking too. Jungkook noticed it and whispered to himself, "Are you that scary? I'm sorry. I wish I was there."

Then Jungkook grabs Jane's hand and holds it. He calms her by gently stroking her hand.

"Hey.. look at me."

But there's no response from her. Jungkook called again

"Jane.."

After that, Jane looked at him. She is waiting for  what he wanted to say instead of that, she received a quick peck on her lips. Jungkook kisses her. But it made Jane become more sad but she didn't show it. She said to herself, "why are you doing this? you hurt me but why did I feel so calm when you are around me?"

Jane still stared at Jungkook while he smiled at her.

"I'm sorry. Let's enjoy the honeymoon."

Jane forcely smiles back at him. Act like she is happy with this honeymoon. She knows what will happen to her.
