Chapter 2
"Dad are you going to drive me to school or not?" I yell from my room.
"Sorry hon, you're just going to have to ride your bike to school. I have to get to work early!" he yells back.
*sigh* But riding the bike hurts my ass when i dont have the tail!
I grab my backpack and head out to the garage.
Perfect. The bike is on the top shelf. I try and reach up for it and succed in getting my right hand around the front wheel.
Sadly that unbalances the bike and sends it toppling over onto my head. I fall onto the ground with the bike still in my hand.
"Hey, are you ok?" I hear a guys voice ask me and its not my dads.
"I'm fine" i say looking up him.
WHOA.
He has dark brown hair that covers his hazel eyes and has the most beautiful guy i have ever seen. He looks like... NOT GOING TO THINK ABOUT IT! I yell at myself. DO NOT THINK ABOUT HIM.
The guy pulls the bike off of me and then helps me up.
"Are you sure you're ok?" he asks again looking at me.
I nod and grab my bag.
"Well then can i ride to school with you?"
HUH?
"You probably dont know you're way to school right? Since you're new and all" he continues.
"Oh, ok. Thanks" I say getting on my bike and riding it out of the garage
My ass hurts soooo much right now! I think to myself. Why didn't we move to a place where the school was within walking distance?
I wait as the guy gets on his bike and then we start to ride up the hill that leads out of the coldasack that we live in.
"I'm Micheal, but everyone calls me Mitch." he says "I live next door."
"Cool" I say trying not to look at him.
I refuse to let HIM ruin this place for me. I will not think about him. I will not think about him. I will not think about him.
I keep chanting that in my head as Mitch keeps talking, only halfway listening to what he says. But I pay attention enough to hear him warn me about some girl named Gabby.
"She's a Bitch" He says frowning "She thinks that shes 'all that' and critisizes everyone that she talks to. Even the other girls in her group."
"Yeah she sounds like someone i used to know." I say thinking about Callie, a girl from when i still went to school in the Polaroid world.
We eventually make our way to school and when we get there, Mitch warns me about something else.
"Now right after i lock up my bike a bunch of girls and some of the guys from the football team are going to run up and start yelling and tacking to me and stuff. You can stay around if you want but i wouldnt suggest it. Plus, Gabby will be there." he says.
Talk about having a big ego. I decide to play it safe though and ride along ahead of him just in case what he said is true.
Sure enough, right after the lock clicks, everyone comes running up to him.
Wow, seems like i just rode to school with the popular guy in school.
Some girls would be happy if they found that out. But i think something else...
NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN.
Not what you were expecting right?
But you need to keep in mind, I'm not normal anyways.
I smile to myself at that as i make my way to the office.
