Through his eyes

Chapter twenty eight

I had bee walking for a couple of minutes when I got to a junction, I didn't know hick was to turn, so I just had to guess. That happened a lot of times to the point where I couldn't even remember my way back. I had no idea where I was. every now and again you could hear the bushes moving, closing and someone shouting. If you listened closely, you could hear footsteps, or someone following you, you could hear someones eyes, watching you.

I didn't bother running, I saved up my energy for when I needed it yet every now and again I had to run to stop the bushed from closing on me. I kept my wand out and held by my side incase I needed it, or needed a light. I was walking quite quickly when I paused, I heard something behind me, or someone. I tried to brush it off but every inch of me coward after something far in the distance made one big screaming sound. Everyone heard it, it was someone we were competing with. I don't know why but I ran after it. I was close but then I heard something moving around the corner. I didn't know what to do and panicked. I tried to hide as far in to the bush as I could, hoping it wouldn't see me.

It came around the corner and looked away from me, or so I thought, it turned around and pointed a light at me. It was Krum. I thought he was going to kill me to be honest, the way he looked at me, he was different. His eyes were different. He walked off, leaving me behind. I set off walking again, in another direction so I didn't bump into him again. I got around the corner and saw someone being dragged into the bush, I ran up and crouched down beside it.

"Fleur!" i shouted at her. She didn't say anything, it just took her away. I didn't know what to do and stood up. "Periculum!" I yelled and red sparks shot out of my wand into the air. I really wish I hadn't just done that, a huge gust off wind blew me away so I ran in the same direction as the wind. The bush started to close in on me so I jumped into the nearest alley that I saw on my left. As I did so, I heard a little twinkling sound. It was the cup. I looked up and there it was, shining as bright as it could.

I felt someone beside me. "get down!" Cedric yelled as a green spark flew above me, right at Cedric. He managed to dodge it and threw one back at Krum. He flew back onto the ground, Cedric ran and kicked his wand out of his hand.

"Cedric stop!" I yelled at him and grabbed his arm. he was going to destroy him for good.

"Get off me!" he yelled at me and pushed me off, he had gone mad as well. He ran away ad tried to fine the cup again.

"Fine then, you little bitch!" I yelled at him and chased after him and managed to turn the corner quicker. We turned all sorts of corners and kept changing over who was closer. We got directly in line with it and both paused. "Its mine, bitch!" I yelled and punched him in the stomach and ran off laughing. He started running too and the bushed began to start hitting us and vines began creaking up the floor following our feet and trying to grab us. We were so close and then he decided to go ahead and let the vines catch his feet. They began to attack him and wrap him up. "For gods sake, Cedric, what would you do without me?" I shouted as he was screaming. I shot the vines, freeing him. I went and untangled him and pulled him up as we both caught our breathe.

"thanks. For a moment there I thought you were going to let it get me!" he said awkwardly. He didn't like the fact that I had to save him.

"yeah, for a moment so did I." I pushed his shoulder. We both laughed but went silent when in the distance we heard the bushes begin to close up again and the wind started blowing in our faces. It was coming in very fast.

"Go!" he yelled at me and pulled me along, we both started running towards the cup not minding who got it first, we just didn't want to get stuck. We got to the cup but did not grab it straight away. "Get it!" he yelled at me as the gap got smaller and a lot closer.
