Through his eyes

Chapter 4

We were layed down on my sofa with my head on his lap because I was trying to sleep when he began to stroke my hair, I have to admit I couldn't stop smiling. I sat up and looked into his eyes, they always sparkled.

"you okay, darling?" he said to me as he gave me a little smirk.

"im fine when im with you." I smirked back. I know its cliche but it's true. We both went silent as we listened to the music playing in the background. "this is my favourite song," I said as I put my head on his shoulder.

"Would you like to dance?" he spoke as he stood up and put his hand out.

"it would be my pleasure," I smiled as I placed my hand on top of his and smiled even wider. he took me in front of the fire place as he placed his one hand on my waist and the other in my hand and I placed my hand around his neck. I remember practising with him how to dance when we were younger so we each knew what to do when we had to go to the yule ball at Hogwarts. I placed my head on his shoulder and he gave me a little kiss on the forehead. I wish moments like this could last forever.

I woke up to the sound of Draco, Crabbe and Goyle downstairs messing about. My head hurted, it felt like someone had walked me over the head with a broomstick. I got up and got my robe on and gathered my books together and walked down stairs. The minute I reached the stairs, Draco and his minions went into silence and just stared at me.

"Why don't you take a picture? It will last longer?" I snapped at them.

"looked like someone already did." Draco muttered as he threw me the school students article. Someone had taken a picture of me and Hermoine going into the Gryffindor common rooms, I didn't think much of it, except the fact that someone is trying to frame me or get everyone to hate me, but I couldn't care less. I turned away from them and laughed as I walked out of the door and headed to the Great hall for breakfast.

when I got there, I looked around and saw hermoine and the others looking my way and hermoine motioned for em to go sit with them, so I did. Besides, I didn't want to be sat by myself again. "Why hello there." I said as I sat next to Hermoine.

"Did you see the Article?" Hermoine looked at me very concerned.

"Who hasn't seen it?" Ron laughed at us.

"Very funny Ronald!" I said as I gave a cheeky laugh back. Me and Hermoine began talking with Ginny and I told them about the dream I had last night as I felt someone come up behind me.

"speak of the devils," Hermoine said.

"George, They were talking about us." Fred said to George as both of them took a seat on either Side of me pushing Hermoine out the way.

"Come on now, what were you saying?" George said as he looked at me.

"How both of you are completely dim-witted." I said trying to act smart.

"how very rude, especially after what I said to you last night." Fred said as he gave me a wink, and yet again, made me blush. He did say something rather nice to me last night about how he missed me, yet he was half asleep so I didn't think he would've remembered. "Anyways, what do you have first?"

"Potions." I said as I took a sip of coffee.

"Me and Fred would be happy to walk to class with you, we have potions to."

"great." I said sarcastically.

I was walking to lesson with Harry with the twins following after us because they wouldn't stop messing around.

"Y/N?" harry asked.

"Yes harry?"

"Draco, is he always like the way he is?"

I stopped for a moment. "no, as a matter of fact he isn't, he does have a soft side, but he doesn't let anyone see it." Im surprised harry even cared about Draco, maybe he was confused as to whether he was gong to grow up to be like his father and if harry had to stop him. Either way, I didn't care. We got into Potions and I sat next to Harry with the twins behind me up to no good as they always are: one second the classroom was filled with people muttering but then there was a loud bang.

"Snape." Fred and George said quietly to us.

"Today we are going to be testing out veritaserum." He mumbled in his low voice. There was something about him that made everyone wonder what happened to him, no one ever saw him smile, no one ever saw him when he was happy. We all began making Veritaserum and I took out my bottle from my bag to get a drink when Snape asked me to come up and demonstrate how to make it. When I was up there I saw the twins messing about trying to be sly. I came back to my seat and took a sip out of my bottle.

"Hey, Y/N?" Freddie said.

"yes?"

"Do you love me?"

"Of course Freddie."

"What are you thinking about?"

"I think I really want to kiss you."

"wait, really?" he said as he sat up in his chair and smiled a bit but looked confused.

"No, I'm kidding. Stop trying to use Veritaserum against me, you bitch!" I burst out laughing and so did Harry and George. Fred on the other hand just sat their embarrassed but he did have a little smile on his face. And I knew George wouldn't let him forget and kept teasing him about it.

At the end of the day I went back to the Gryffindor common room again with Hermoine and Ginny to hang out and all the boys were waiting for us. They were all sat down laughing.

"Hello, love," Fred said. "We can never get rid of you now, can we?"

"We've already told Ron and Percy about what happened in Potions," George said laughing his head of and I giggled back.

"Well that's what you get you weasel," I laughed as hermoine and Ginny dragged me into their room (again).

"So," Ginny said sitting down on my bed.

"So?" I replied, very confused about what was going on.

"Sooo... when are you going to ask my brother out?" Ginny smirked.

"What do you mean when am I going to ask your brother out?" I said laughing.

"Give it up already. We know you like him." Hermoine said sitting down next to me smiling at me.

"If you tell anyone, you're dead." I whispered flopping onto her bed and putting the pillow on my face. They just laughed.
