Curiosity
I hate that I'm curious
About your dreams
Your idealsI hate that I'm curious
About your taste
Your lipsI hate that I'm curious
About your eyes
What the world is to youI hate that I'm curious
At your momentary smile
At the sight of the night skyI hate that I'm curious
The way you leave me breathless
From the entirety of youWhy am I curious?
Why is it always you?
Everywhere I look and turn,
I see only youCuriosity
This curiosity
Damned curiosityTake it away
For I know
You will never be,
As curious as I am
To you
**Be safe, not only from everything that we are going through right now, but also from the voices trapped within us.
Stay safe.
