The cold droplets of the rain landed onto the 14 years old's cheeks as she watch the dark sky get cloudy. She was in great endless loneliness that couldn't be filled with anything. What was everything for? Why is it raining? Why are there blood splattering? Why are people killing each other?

Why... are we living?

At a young age, she was abandoned by her ghoul father after her mother died as a punishment for betraying them. And with that, they created the worst kind of monster walking around their district, the famous 'One-Eyed Owl'. One of the deadliest ghoul that would love to see people's suffering as they slowly die.

Humans, all of them are foolish, they are cruel. Ghouls? why aren't they allowed to live normally? To walk around the town? To play and have a nice childhood? Why are everyone being killed? Kagunes being cutted in a way to kill more of them

The young girl heard sobs from a small alleyway, cry of a young girl which she immediately walked to. The look she gave the girl who noticed her presence was a cold, empty look. The look that no one will ever understand. The frustration of being abandoned and the loneliness of not having a 'real' family.

"Are you perhaps.. lonely?" She asked, tilting her head. The young boy spaced out for a little amount of time before answering, "Our father abandoned my sister and I without telling any goodbye." He looked at her with sorrow visible in his eyes that represents the same familiar pain as her.

Her breathe hitched, she felt sorry for the kid, yet she remained the straight face she is showing. "Humans are cruel.. aren't they?" The girl sat in front of her. "I will give you a peace of me and you will be less lonely.. in one condition." She added, curving her lips for a little. The young girl tilted her head in confusion.

She closed her eyes and open it once again, revealing her real form. Her bloody colored predatory organs came out from her back before standing up once again.

"Have you heard of ghouls? Be a monster like me."

The young girl was terrified at the sight, and with that, she stabbed the girl with her sharp organ right on the stomach, creating a huge hole from the front to the back. Blood splattered on the wall as cutted intestines wrapped around her kagune.

It is painful, sure it is. While transferring some of her cells into the girl, the ghoul is enjoying her pain, her suffering. The fact that she can't afford to scream amused her even more. The ghoul laughed maniacally at the sight. But if it was not for the young girl's loneliness, she would have eaten her already. It will be delicious to eat a fresh body of a human. It will be a pleasure for her. But she felt pity despite being known as a heartless person.

Once the transfusion was done, she hid her predatory organ back into her body, having the girl land on the cemented ground of the alley with body organs splattered over.

"Tsuchida." She snapped her fingers, having a masked old man appear next to her. She shifted her eye to the blood stained name tag on the young girl's uniform as she picked it up. "Bring him to our home. Fix her, treat her, let her regenerate." She monotonely ordered which the old man quickly followed.

"Harada Aoi, huh... cliché and lame name."

It was just a normal day for her, nothing surprising, except for the new ally of them.

She has to live on as a monster, as the infamous one-eyed owl. She is one of the most famous man-eating ghoul in their district. And just like that, she will welcome tomorrow again with slight chances of hope and despair, dreaming the day where ghouls like her will be treated as a normal living thing just like humans. Dreaming of a world where there are happiness and peace, where all of them can eat normal food without vomiting, where they can interact with one another without fear of being killed.

Dreaming of the future where she won't be called as the deadly 'One-Eyed Owl' but Hirate Yurina.
