Each one of the survivors and hunters deserved a break and so a vacation was granted by the owner of the manor. Everyone was allowed to go to Lakeside Village and stay for three days. Luckily, there was a beach nearby and everyone could enjoy it. You were excited since you were able to spend time with Joseph, your lover. You have been dating for three months and kept it a secret from the others. The moment you arrived at Lakeside Village, Martha rushed towards the water. "Come on guys!" She waves her arms around. "Come back here Martha! Get changed first!" Emily calls out. Martha pouts before running to the room that she shares with Emily.

You were paired with Demi who only brought a pair of swimsuit and several bottles of Dovlin. As soon as you unpacked, you wore your swimsuit and applied sunblock. As you were about to leave, Demi stopped you. "Wait! I have something for you." She shuffles inside her purse before fishing out sunglasses. "Here." She places it on top of your head and winks. "Perfect." You thanked Demi before leaving the room. The moment you arrived by the beach, you saw that Jose, Margaretha, Martha, and Vera were already enjoying themselves.

"(First Name)!" Margaretha calls to you. You wave at her and entered the waters. You slowly swam towards her as the water was cold. "Hi." You greet her. She was about to reply to you but her eyes widened. You were curious about what she saw and you turned around to see the hunters coming out from their room wearing their swimsuits. One that particularly caught your attention was Joseph. His hair was tied loose by a yellow ribbon and he didn't button his shirt.

"Aren't they handsome?" Margaretha asks you. "Well, I guess they are?" You replied to avoid suspicion. "Joseph looks like a hot daddy." Margaretha licks her lips and you felt uncomfortable that she was talking that way about your lover. "Hey (First Name)!" William calls. "We're having a volleyball match! Come join us." Emma quickly runs towards you and pull you out of the water. "The rules are simple. Each team will comprise of three hunters and three survivors." William explains. Your team comprised of Norton, Emma, Xie Bi An, Leo, Jack, and yourself while the other team comprised of William, Emily, Naib, Fan Wu Jiu, Ann, and Joseph.

"Here I go!" William serves the ball and it went over the net. You caught it and threw it towards Norton who set it towards Xie Bi An. Xie Bi An spiked the ball which made your team earn the first point. You high five with your team and continued playing. Little did you know, Joseph was paying attention to Norton who was touchy with you. Every time your team would score a point, Norton would come to you and pat your head. Joseph did not like that at all. When it was his turn to serve, he made sure to aim it towards Norton. The ball came at an increasingly fast pace and hit Norton's arms which bounced off towards the waters.

"Sorry." Joseph apologizes though he didn't mean it. "It's alright," Norton says. "I bet this is how the hunters feel when William bumps into them." Norton jokes which made William proud. "That's right." William nods. You went to retrieve the ball but the waters kept pushing it further. You couldn't feel the ground anymore but still went to chase after the volleyball. The moment you got the volleyball, Emma yells your name loud enough for you to hear. "Look out!" The moment you turned around, you see a wave coming in your direction. It was too late for you to swim back and so the wave engulfed you. The current was too strong so it was difficult to swim to the top. With that, you lost your breath.

"Someone help her!" Emma says. Joseph saw everything that happened. Before he could jump in the waters to save you, Norton was already swimming halfway towards you. He placed you on a floatie and swam back towards the shore. Everyone rushed towards you, especially Joseph. "(First Name)?" He shook you but you didn't wake up. He took off his shirt and placed it on top of you. He started pushing your chest yet you still didn't wake up. He had no choice but to give you CPR. After a few seconds, you woke up to Joseph giving you CPR. You push him away and coughed out water. "Are you okay?" A worried Joseph asks you.

"I-I'm fine." You reply. "Don't scare me like that." He says before pulling you into a hug. At that moment, he forgot that there were survivors and hunters present. "I mean, don't scare us like that." He quickly says but the cat has been out of the bag already. "Tsk. You didn't tell us you were together." Fan Wu Jiu says. "It's called a secret." Xie Bi An says, holding Fan Wu Jiu's shoulder. "For how long?" Emma asks. "For three months." You replied. "This calls for a celebration," Demi says. "I brought Dovlin for everyone but Helena and Martha. I brought something fruity for them instead."

Everyone decided to ditch volleyball and wanted to eat. Emily and Melly started cooking barbecue while the others were helping out to set tables and chairs. "Before you go help, come here," Joseph says. He takes his shirt and made sure you wore it. He even buttoned up the shirt. "There, so no one can see." You pout your cheeks at him. "You're such a jealous lover." He pulls you close to him by the waist. "Say that again." He presses his nose on yours. "Hey lovebirds! Stop being lovey-dovey and help us here!" Norton says. You move away embarrassed from Joseph and went to help Margaretha move the chairs.

"I guess he's your hot daddy," Margaretha says, winking at you. You blush and look at Joseph carrying the table with Jack. "I guess he is."
