[Modern Alternate Universe]Edgar shifts uncomfortably under the blankets, the coldness of the air creeping up to him. He groggily opens his eyes and glances at the clock that read 8:42 in the morning. He sees that the window is left ajar; no wonder the air felt chilly. He slightly shivers before getting up to close the windows. Before he could do it, he felt something pulling him back. "Don't go." You mutter, holding onto the hem of his shirt. He gently holds your hand and places a kiss on the back of your palm. "Good morning. I promise I'll be quick, okay?"
"No." You whine. "It's cold." You close the gap between your bodies, holding him close. "Well, it's snowing. If I don't close the windows, it might get colder." You rub your face on his shirt, saying no, yet persistent on holding him for warmth. As you were both arguing, Edgar starts to shiver again. He didn't like the feeling so he removed your arms from his waist and ran towards the window to close it. "Hmph!" You pout at him angrily, covering yourself under the blanket. "I'm back." He tries to get close to you by inserting himself inside the blanket but you push him away. "I don't like you! Get away!"
"I'm sorry." Edgar apologizes, slithering inside the blanket. You turn away, your back facing him. His hands snake around your waist, pulling you close in his embrace. "Please don't ignore me." He places a kiss onto the back of your neck, sending shivers down your spine. You heave a sigh and turn around to face him. "You're such a meanie." You squish his cheeks. "Just the like the first day we met."
