CHAPTER 5:
Leenas POV:
Dominique carefully removed the chain off my ankle, he was so sweet I can already imagine the future I could have with him I couldn't help but smile at my crazy thoughts
"whatcha thinking about beautiful?" he winked, I smiled even bigger
" nothing really......I just want some answers to what I'm doing here!"
Dominique began speaking
"OK so I am a vampire, but I am a prince,my parents the king and queen of this kingdom are in Italy for the week they don't know about you. I found you while I was out hunting on the streets. I didn't find the boy that drank from you but you were unconscious you lost a lot of blood but I couldn't just leave you there so I......." he rushed through all this information, it sunk in through my head slowly, feeling all of this is some crazy dream
"you what?" I questioned, he continued
"I turned you into a vampire, it was my only option so you could live, but you were out for so long that you didn't notice the changes, i know this is a lot to take in...." he kept rushing through all this, i could tell he felt uncomfortable around me, i didn't listen to the rest of that sentence.....
I couldn't say anything I....I...I was a VAMPIRE!! dreams come true! I wanted to go out and live my vampire ways, experience how it was to be a vampire,use all my enhanced senses. I was super happy. Dominique noticed my excitement
"why are you so happy?"
"Ive ALWAYS wanted to be a vampire!"
he gave me a strange look then chuckled "well that's great, I thought you were going to be pissed at me, well I'll continue to give you answers, I couldn't find your phone. Were on the coast of California, hidden in the woods, we have a spell on the castle so no humans can see it only vampires can, vampires are trying to kill you because your a newborn half blood, half bloods aren't allowed in this kingdom humans are either servants or food, shouldn't be seen as anything else and certainly not turned into a vampire, I should have let you die but i just couldn't, my parents would be disappointed if they found out I turned you into a vampire,but for now you cant leave this room, there are other vampires in this castle that would take you as a snack, i don't want you to get hurt.....i don't know how other vampires know about you but Drake also tries to get you, he's the one that gave you this chain" i growled at the thought of him, remembering all the fear he has caused me
Dominique gazed into my eyes, i felt lost in his gorgeous blue eyes, we were getting closer and closer, I could feel his cool breath on my lips, he broke away all of a sudden and mumbled quickly "I have to go" he walked out in a hurry leaving me confused and hurt
