CHAPTER 12:

Coles POV:

the name Dominique made my nose cringe in disgust when i asked her who the Dominique she was mumbling about

she gasped

i had a feeling it was the man who murdered my best friend

she looked at me with a shocked expression and started to speak, i was going to see what lie she will make just so she doesn't have to tell me the truth about her and Dominique

Leenas POV:

i couldn't respond, i searched for different answers i could give him in my mind, i will not tell him that i might be in love with the vampire that killed his best friend

i opened my mouth hoping i would say the right thing

"Dominique used to be my boyfriend, we broke up recently and i fell in love with him but he was just using me to get to my best friend, he cruelly dumped me in front of all his friends, everyone knew about it, and the worst part is that my best friend went out with him after that" i lied

i put out a fake sad expression, a tear rolled down my cheek, trying not to laugh at this lie,i should be an actress

he wrapped his arms around me and held me close, i put my head on his chest

hook,line and sinker, but i did feel safe in his arms, for a second i thought it was Dominique i was holding, oh how i wish it was

Coles POV:

i know she was lying but i hugged her anyway, shes a great actor i tried to suppress my laughter when she actually thought i fell for her lie

i don't want to ask for the truth because I'm afraid i already know the answer

 but then again i do want to know more about their past

i guess it will just have to wait for another day

 as much as i loved holding her in my arms

i pulled back

"lets go forger your troubles , wanna go to a club?"

Leenas POV:

"im only 16"

"im 17, i know people there, don't worry your pretty little head about a thing" he responded

"ok then, let me go get ready"

I was wearing some new clothes i bought; skinny jeans and a loose shirt, I'm not the girly type

i could hear the clubs music from a mile away, once we arrived at the club we entered through the back door, there was all types of different people, some dressed like women off the street, others dressed formally, others looked like they just closed their eyes and wore whatever they picked

everyone dancing to the up beat pop song the DJ was playing

it was a world of strobe lights in there

Cole lead me through the crowd with me following him like a lost puppy

when i saw a man with dark black hair from behind he looked exactly like.....

Dominique.....

i tapped him on the shoulder the man turned around revealing to be......
