I'm Right Here

Thunder clashed outside the windows as rain poured down heavily. Floris stood there watching the rain drops racing each other to the bottom of the window sill, each getting bigger and heavier as they collected smaller drops of water on their way.

He stood there just staring, he rubbed the sleepiness out of his eyes and ran a hand through his hair. He ruffled it, the brown strands mixing with the bright white patches. That was something his partner loved about him so much, they never stopped talking about how his hair was their favorite thing.

He was lost in thought while staring out the window and thinking about his partner. A small smiled tugged his tired face. He was so smitten with them, constantly recalling the memories they made and still continue to make everyday.

"Floris what are you still doing awake?" The soft whisper of Y/n, broke the trance he was in. He jumped slightly as they wrapped their arms around his waist; he felt them place their warm face against his cold back.

"Couldn't sleep." He shrugged his shoulders and placed his hands on top of Y/n's. They wrapped them around his tighter. He leaned back against Y/n as they both stood there watching it rain.

"Come back to bed my love." Y/n unwrapped their arms from around their partner and held out their hand, waiting for this partner to take it.

Fundy placed his hand gently into Y/n's and let them lead the way back to the bedroom. They held the door open and let Fundy walk through first. Once he was in they shut the door and walked to the bed.

They sat down and pat the bed next to them telling him to lay down. He sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed. Y/n wrapped their arms around their partner again and sat there hugging him.

"It's alright Floris, I'll be right here. I promise." They felt their boyfriends shoulders relax a bit more before pulling him down to the bed. The Dutch man got under under the covers and let their partner do the same.

Y/n snuggled closely into the Dutch mans back, placing an arm over the man and pulling him closer than they already were.

Y/n kissed the back of the mans neck and rubbed his arm. They felt their partners breathing slow down and his body relax fully.

Y/n smiled knowing they could put their partner to sleep with the snap of their fingers. They told themselves they'd do it as many times as they needed as long as their partner was happy.
