Floris hasn't really had the greatest sleep schedule, even as a child he would often find it hard to fall asleep or stay asleep. So instead of trying most nights of the week he would just refuse to sleep.
His body has grown accustomed to staying up 4 or 5 nights of the week depending on the current project he was working on. But since being with his partner Y/n he would find himself in a bed next to them instead of at his desk working on something new at late hours of the night.
Lately no matter what Y/n did or tried to do Floris refused to sleep or even step foot into the bedroom unless it was to get a new set of clothes. He spent those nights at his desk working. Sometimes he would stream, making it known to his watchers and fans that he was in fact still alive and kicking even if the effects of no sleep had started to show on his face.
Of course his fans were worried and they made jokes and he would reassure them that he was sleeping and getting enough rest, lying to them obviously. It wasn't for a while until Y/n had come up with an idea to get Floris to bed for one night at least.
Y/n lightly knocked on the door to Floris' office, not wanting to wake him incase he happened to fall asleep on his own. This was too good to be true because the Dutch man replied quietly, putting all of his attention and focus onto this current project.
Y/n walked in swiftly and stood behind the man and wrapped their arms around his shoulders and rubbed his neck and face gently.
"Hey, how are you doing?"
The man stopped for a bit before getting back to work and replying with an "ok".
Y/n nodded their head slowly even though they knew their partner couldn't see it. They watched him work for a couple seconds before suggesting they play a game.
"What kind of game?"
"Just a small game of truth or dare, nothing too big I promise."
The man reluctantly agreed, which made Y/n smile a bit.
"Ok truth or dare?"
"Truth"
"How many hours have you slept this week?"
The man stopped for a few seconds before changing his answer.
"Dare"
"I dare you to go to bed and get some sleep"
"I, I don't like this game Y/n"
Y/n chuckled, before they replied with full honesty.
"And I don't like how little you've slept the last couple weeks. Floris you need to sleep, your body needs it. You're going to get sick, and weak. You can tell by the way your face looks how little you've slept."
"I don't need to sleep, I need to finish this thing."
"Floris please work with me here. It can wait until tomorrow. Your fans and subscribers will understand when you can't get a video or a stream out on time. Just get a good nights sleep for me, please."
The man looked at Y/n and saw how desperate they were for him to get some sleep. He let out a heavy sigh and nodded his head.
"Ok, ok I'll go to sleep. But you have to come with me."
Y/n smiled widely and pulled Floris out of the chair and dragged him to the bedroom. They handed him a clean pair of pajamas and got into their side of the bed. They lifted the covers and pat the bed for their partner.
Floris got into the bed and wrapped one arm around Y/n getting comfortable. Eventually his breathing slowed and his body relaxed.
He whispered a light "thank you" to his partner before closing his eyes and getting some much needed sleep.
Hello I'm sorry i haven't been updating, I just got out of school for the summer and I'm trying to enjoy the first couple of days. I've been meaning to update for awhile but school was getting in the way. I'll try to be more consistent throughout the summer! Take this crumb of content for now, until the next update. Cya!
