__________________________________________________________________The group all entered the conference room and gazed around in awe at the large room and floor to ceiling windows that viewed out across the New York rooftops. At the front of the room, the Avengers watched the group of teenagers who finally seemed to notice their presence.
A few squeals were heard and the murmurs increased as the students faced the Avengers before them, staring down from their raised, almost stage-like area. Tony seemed smug as the teenagers watched them in admiration, revelling in the attention as always.
The entire group of heroes turned their heads towards the door as the youngest member of their group of miscreants entered the room looking tense. Tony gave him a big smile which he timidly returned before joining his boyfriend on one of the chairs towards the back.
Every single Avenger turned their glare on the final boy to enter as he proceeded with an aura of self-importance surrounding him, despite the purple shiner that decorated his cheek, courtesy of one Harley Keener.
The Avengers seemed a bit taken aback by his dishevelled state, but one glance at the smug smirk the Tennessee boy was sporting, and their questions were answered fairly quickly. Wanda, who had shown up late, arrived through the back door and ruffled Peter's hair before heading up to join the rest of the avengers. They all seemed to be scanning the group that had taken their places on the chairs laid out for them.
Once everybody had settled down, the group turned their attention the one and only Tony Stark who had stepped up to the podium. "Hey there everyone," The man started "As I'd hope you're all aware, my name is Tony Stark, owner of Stark Industries and Iron man. Behind me is the rest of the Avengers. Your tour group has been selected for an exclusive Avengers Q&A, so feel free to ask us any questions you want, though, do try to keep them respectful and bear in mind that we do not have to answer them if we don't want to."
The group nodded and within moments, almost every hand in the room shot into the air. The first few questions were regular enough, Cindy asking about how much each of the Avengers trained weekly and Abraham asking Tony about his first robot, Dum-E.
Betty decided to ask Natasha who can lift the most weight. Peter almost groaned at the question, knowing what was about to happen. Natasha shot him a smirk before answering, "Well, Steve and Bucky can both lift a lot, Bucky beating Steve out a little bit, but Spiderman can out-lift both of them, no question."
This was met with whispers and loud protests from Captain America and The Winter Soldier, but they quickly shut up at the glare they receive from the redhead. Sally seemed to be the only one confident enough to question the whereabouts of said spider, but the Avengers merely shrugged it off, claiming he was busy.
By then, people seem to finally be comfortable enough to ask about Peter. While he knew it was coming, Peter still wasn't happy about it. "So, um, how do some of you guys know Peter?" Tony cleared it up pretty quickly, however. "Peter's my personal intern, he's over a lot and everyone around here loves him, he's part of the family." He says with a smile towards the blushing boy in the back row.
