"damnit" you sigh frustrated on your bed. "ok Y/N you're going to do it tommorow" you take a deep breath and exhale. bzz bzz you got a message. you pick up your phone and see the notification. '(1) message by oikawa 💖' "stop it, why are you doing this to me" you mumble.
[oikawa 💖]
hey, Y/N.... I'm really sorry.... -oikawa
[last day of examination]
you hand in your paper and leave the classroom. oikawa was waiting for you outside and iwaizumi had already left because he was busy. 'finally the stress ends' you put your stuff in your bag. you walk up to oikawa who was just staring into space. he sees you coming towards him.
"hey chibi, come with me i wanna see the gym one last time" he grabs your hand and walks to the gym without even waiting for you to reply.
you reach the gym and as oikawa enters he takes a deep breath. he smiles.
"you know Y/N...." you look at him.
"you've helped me get through so much and i want to tell you that I'm grateful you're always here for me" he makes eye contact with you.
"you've done the same for me" you smiled.
suddenly oikawa puts his hand on your cheek and his lips meet yours. you were shocked you just stood there. you were too shocked to kiss back so oikawa pulled away. you didn't say anything.
"i-i'm sorry it just happened" oikawa said avoiding eye contact with you
'what do you mean it just happened, you didn't mean it?.... gosh what did i expect..' you were furious, was he playing with you? you run out of the gym and go straight to your house.

'why did i do that... i just made her feel like I'm a playboy again... that's it I'm going to tell her today'

you get ready since oikawa was going to come over. you put on some better clothes and clean up your room. you hear the doorbell. you go to the door and open it. you stare at oikawa for a few seconds before letting him in. you take him to your room, there is just an awkward silence between you two. you decide to speak.
"alright alright, let's just forget about what happened at the gym okay?"
"haha... yeah..."
'how can i forget my first kiss?' both of you think.
"so? why'd you wanna hang out"
"what so now that we're not going to be in same schools we can't hang out?" oikawa said.
"I didn't mean that!"
oikawa chuckles "I'm just teasing you~"
there it is. once again there is just an awkward silence and you decide to break it again.
"do you want something to eat?"
"uh, sure i guess"
you nod and go downstairs in the kitchen to grab some chips and strawberry milk.
oikawa squeezes his face between his palms. 'come on shittykawa why are you being so nervous'
you come back with a bowl of chips and two glasses of strawberry milk. you grab a chip to eat and oikawa finally speaks.
"so about the kiss-"
"i know you didn't mean it let's just forget about it okay?" you cut him off
"Y/N I... meant it"
your eyes widened.
"i like you Y/N, I've been in denial about my feelings but i guess they don't go away so easily, it's okay if you don't feel the same way I don't want my feelings to ruin our friendship"
you tackle oikawa into a hug, both of you fall on your bed.
"you idiot, do you know how hard it was for me to reach out to you?"
"huh? i-"
"i like you too dumbass, I've liked you for a long time"
both of you stay there not wanting to pull away from the hug, just feeling the warmth of each other. you were really happy, happier than you could've ever been. you finally pull away from the hug.
"i didn't expect that answer"
"neither did i..."
you both keep staring at each other wondering who would make the first move. you peck oikawa on his lips and he pulls you into a deeper kiss.
"i will miss you..."
"me too"
