Time To Go Home

It had been two days since the incident. And no one has spoken but the girls. Things were crazy and Hoshi was emotional. They stopped by polus and achieved the testing materials needed before heading back. They had disposed off anything needed and since the captain was gone, Julius had to sit and report with the other crews captain before anyone could leave.

Estrella had gotten sick. Really sick. Remi said she could help her but she didn't have what she needed on the ship. Jess was worried. So was everyone else. But Jess mostly. Remi was mainly tending to the kids. The boy, who was more attached to Remi wouldn't leave her side and Remi had yet to name him. He said he never had one. But it was weird to hear Remi call a kid boy. Mainly because of the tone she used. It was like she didn't like kids.

Wandering into cafe. Jess saw Remi and Hoshi just eating and Remi looked like shit. "Hey you ok? You look like you haven't slept" Jess asked as Remi barely glanced up. "I haven't kids been killing me he's more energetic then he looks. And besides Estrella is getting worse I gotta focus on her" Remi yawned before pushing her unfinished food away from her. "I'm trying to get her to take a break. Cayde is with the kid now but we really need to figure things out. Where do these kids go when we get back. We arrive in a few hours" Hoshi said nervous. "Estrella is coming with me, she's basically my daughter now" Jess spoke sitting down and laying her head on the table. "I'm taking the boy. Besides he needs a home and he seems to like me" Remi spoke sleepily. Hoshi swigged rubbing Remi's back as Cayde and the boy walked in. "Remi can we go see Estrella now? She's probably lonely" The boy smiled as he pushed at Remi's back. "She's asleep let her be for now. You can see her later. Now listen up" Remi turned around. And sighed. "When we get back to earth your coming with me. And from then on you basically gonna be my kid. So what do you want your name to be" she glanced down her gaze softened towards the kid for the first time since the girls found him. "Um, you pick if your gonna be my mom! Besides your a good person" He said smiling with a little giggle. Remi gave him a look of confusion. "Um then how's Loki. It sounds decent right" Remi was confused she's never named a kid before. "I like it! It sounds cool" Loki spoke back. Then Hoshi realized Remi either named him after a god or an anime character. 'Why would you do that to a kid' was all Hoshi thought. Loki was just pushing Remi trying to get the girl to do something with him. "Poor Remi. She's got a kid attached to her" Jess smiled at the sight and noticed the small smile on Remi's face.

Until Julius walked out. Then the glare was back. "Everyone hold on we're landing Cayde come help. And be prepared for the press. If I were you all I'd run the second we're free" Julius gave his casual half smirk before turning Cayde waved to the girls before following the new 'captain' and then they were alone. Remi sighed and looked at Hoshi. The alien female was just staring at the table. "I'm happy we get to go home. Maybe I can just forget him" Hoshi mumbled not knowing Julius could still hear her the tears in his eyes after the incident. "Is this what it's like to love someone and then mess it up" he mumbled continuing to the launchpad.

The landing was rough mainly cause no one knew how to control this thing really. So once it was over everyone was sick to their stomachs.

"Well let's go home" Julius mumbled opening the door to see news people and some others waiting to see their family again. Next thing he knew he saw Hoshi run past him and tackle a guy into a hug. "XANDER! Holy shit I missed you" Hoshi began crying on the male. And Julius was honestly jealous. "Hey sugarcube. How ya been" Xander laughed as he hugged the female.

Julius glared until he felt a hand slam on his back. "There's my boy. How was space did you have fun" Julius looked up seeing his dad and smiled. To him that wasn't just his dad it was his idol. "It was nice. But crazy. We lost a lot of nice people" Julius responded as he hugged his dad. It was nice to see his father after so long.

Jess glanced around Estrella beside her. And then she saw him. A smile broke on her face as she dropped her helmet. She ran and jumped and The white haired male held his arms out. "It's a yes Eli. It was always a yes" she mumbled into his chest as they hugged. "I'm happy your back Jessica. And thank you" he nervously hid his face in her hair as he blushed before staring down confused. "Why is there a kid? Last I checked you didn't have kids" Eli stared confusion written on his face. "Oh this is Estrella I saved her life and she's now my daughter. I hope that's ok" Jess trailed off at the end. "That's fine hi Estrella im Eli, it's nice to meet ya" Eli kneeled down and held out his hand. "Nice to meet you Mr.Eli! Are you my dad" Estrella asked making the Male almost choke and die. "Um I wouldn't say that. But I guess?" He even questioned it. Making Jess sigh as she just patted both of their heads.

Remi sighed she didn't have anyone there or so she thought. Until she heard someone say 'Shortcake'. Remi jumped and turned her head seeing blonde. "Marcus? OH SHIT" she jogged over and hugged the extremely tall male. "Hey giant" She nuzzled him like she did in highschool. "Hey shortcake how was it. And how have you been! Did you get tinier? Or am I just tall" he asked a train of questions. "It was fun. I'm decent, I don't think so, and yes your tall. Does that answer everything" She responded giddy smirk on her face as they pulled away. He laughed and she laughed with him. "Your suck a dork, but then again so am I" She spoke smiling like a dumbass. Until she glanced over and frowned.

Cayde smiled walking over and kissing a woman and laughed. "How are you Akari. You look good" He smiled at his girlfriend and she laughed back. "I'm ok I missed you" She hugged him. "I missed you too" he hugged her back playing with her hair.

"Cheater? Or just someone you hate? Either one and I'll kill him" Marcus rubbed her ears and she groaned. "Guy I thought was decent but meh I'll get over it. Anyway meet Loki. My new...son" Remi motioned to the small kid and gave an awkward smile. Loki walked over and shyly waved behind Remi. "Oh hey there I'm Marcus. And your uh mother is my best friend. So I guess I'm your uncle" Marcus laughed waving. "I thought you were her boyfriend. You act like it" Loki said glancing Marcus up and down. "I- no. It's nothing like that. I've just known her since middle school" He shook his hands red faced. Remi laughed pulling him down and ruffling his hair.

Everyone was happy. Ish.

Well besides some jealous people. And the fact that Jess was utterly confused on how Estrella easily trusted her new boyfriend, but she was happy Eli was hers now.

Marcus has his bestfriend back. Xander got to see his sugarcube. But how long will things be ok.

How long until someone dies again. And everyone that was on the ship knew that. And things weren't gonna easily be normal.
