It's been about 2 days since the incident. Remi has been stuck in bed since her ribs cracked. While everyone else has been doing tasks. Julius was casually walking through the ship when he saw brown go into the electrical following after him.

Walking in he saw Jess with the kid. Jess decided to name Estrella but everyone called the kid Ella. He stared as Jess was doing wires while the kid clung into her leg. "Hey you two ok"? Jessica turned her head looking at Julius leaning on the wall. "We're fine, probably gonna go eat something after I finish the wires and put this one to bed. That sound fine Ella" Jess smiled under the helmet at the kid. "Sounds fine with me. Can we have nuggies or ice cream though" Ella looked up at the female smiling. "Alright let's head to admin and get these wires done". Jess stood up straight glaring at the captain who was downloading data as the captain glared back. Jess glanced at Julius mumbling a thank you for being in the room. Julius nodded at your welcome before looking at the captain. "Leave them alone, the kid hasn't done anything you don't have to be in the same room as them. In fact take the day off you need to calm your damn head" Julius said before leaving the room and heading to check on everyone else.

Jess walked into admin the small kid skipping after her. Jess began working on wires staring at the older females back. "Do you have any friends on earth?" Ella asked lightly tilting her head. "My friend Eli. But I guess you can say I like him more than that" Jess responded not turning her head. "Is he your boyfriend. Like do you like him" Ella said happily bouncing up and down hoping the older woman had someone like that in her life. "Something like that I guess. He asked when I left but I didn't get to answer. Sadly. But I'll say yes when I get back" Jess smiled as she said that. She was excited to go back just to see him. Eli was an awkward man but a sweet one. She was surprised he asked anyway. "Is he really important to you"? Hearing the kid say that she closed the cabinet to the wires and turned patting Ella's head. "He's important to me. Just like you are. Now come on let's go eat" Jess smiled. She didn't expect to smile this much with a kid around but she really liked having the kid. Estrella stopped her from killing people. From hurting those around her. She almost wanted to kill the captain but then Julius came in. And yknow what she was happy Julius was there. Estrella didn't need to see that.

Arriving at the Cafeteria she saw Hoshi and Rose sitting at a table talking. Walking over she sat down pulling Estrella up on the bench. "Hey Jess, how were your tasks?" Rose said that happily to the female who sighed in response. "Terrible the captain keeps following me around everywhere. It's annoying and it's pissing me off" Jess pulled off her helmet sitting on the table. "Damn I feel bad for you. Has he said anything" Hoshi said before biting down on her ice cream. "No he just kept glaring. Estrella here go grab some ice cream" Jess handed the kid some money before watching her run off to the machines. "Poor girl. How has she been" Rose said watching the small female. "She's ok, she seems happy but she's been feeling sick lately. I told her to stay in the rooms with Remi but she said she wanted to stay with me" Jess felt bad for Estrella but knew kids hate listening.

Estrella ran over holding two ice creams and sat them on the table before crawling onto the chair. She handed one to Jess before eating her own. "Thanks kid" Jess smiled and noticed the flavor was strawberry before smiling and eating the ice cream. "I hope it's ok it was pink like your suit" Estrella smiled showing a small gap in her teeth before giggling. "It's perfect hun" Jess said back patting the kids head before continuing to enjoy the frozen snack. "So anyone catch your eyes girls" Hoshi spoke up a small smirk on her lips. (Please not no one is wearing their helmets.)

"Cayde's cute. He's also smart for his age and he's only a year younger than me" Rose said with a small smile gracing her lips. "Nah besides I got someone I have to get home for". Jess smiled once she said that. "Damn who and doesn't Remi have a thing for Cayde the two seem a little close". Once Hoshi said that Jess shrugged. "My friend Eli, he's currently on his own mission but we promised to come home for each other. Y'know". Rose nodded. "Yeah and They do seem close but who knows. Anyway Jess I didn't know you had anyone special" Rose said, making Jess' cheeks glow a light pink color. "It's not like that. Just friends" Jess waved her hands in her face. "Whatever you say Jess" Hoshi spoke out before laughing.

The doors to the cafe opened as Julius and Cayde walked in sitting at the table. "Sup ladies" Julius said, sitting next to Hoshi. Cayde waved sitting on the other side of Estrella. "Beside the fact we were having a girl talk and you guys showed up not much" Rose said glaring at the boys. "Hey Juli," Hoshi said, winking at the male. "Stop calling me that Boogie," Julius said, rolling his eyes at the nickname. "Well me and Julius just finished today's tasks we split up to do Remi's so she isn't far behind tomorrow". Cayde smiled as he took off his helmet. "That's sweet and she seems to be healing well so that's nice" Rose spoke a laugh at the end. "Yeah but let's hope she doesn't punch the captain again," Jess said, rubbing her temples. As funny as it was to watch now she knows Remi won't be alone for a while. "Ms.Jess I'm sleepy can we go to bed now" Hearing Estrella say that Jess smiled nodding before grabbing her helmet and standing up. "Alright ima get this one to bed you all should head off too before someone gets yelled at" Jess smiled waving goodnight to everyone. As they walked away Estrella yelled a goodnight to everyone earning one in return and some simple waves.

Upon entering the female quarters. Jess noticed Remi up reading a book. "Go to bed you need rest" Jess simply said, changing Estrella into something to wear to bed. Which happened to be one of Jessica's t'shirts. "I know but it's boring sitting in a room all day. Besides it's not like ima be alone tomorrow" Remiru sighed closing the book and sitting it beside her bed. "But you need sleep Ms.Wolfie" Estrella said hopping into the bed. "I know you two go to bed. I'll pass out sooner or later" Remi sighed turning on her side and trying to sleep. "Alright. Estrella get some sleep, ok Kid. I'll wake you up when the rest of us have to head out" Jess smiled tucking the kid into bed. And kissing her head. "Goodnight Ms.Jessica" Estrella said yawning before her eyes slowly closed.

Jess sighed before changing into a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and crawling into her bed pulling the covers up and closing her eyes. "This sucks" was all she mumbled, falling into her own deep slumber knowing this might be the last calm night before someone else go's bye bye.
