IT SURPRISED MOST PEOPLE TO SEE THAT EISLEY TUSIE AND JOHN BENDER WERE STILL TOGETHER COME OCTOBER. Most figured that they'd be a quick fling, over in less than two months. Much to the despair of those that made bets, however, the pair had made it through the rest of March and on to the end of October, where they were dressed in costume to take Eriqua, Eisley's little sister, trick or treating.
John looked hot, Eisley noticed as soon as he walked out of the room he had been changing in. He'd come over without a costume, which Eriqua simply was not having. She'd thrown an entire tantrum while Eisley and her mother searched through her father's old clothes for something John could wear. When Eisley found the suit jacket hanging in the closet, a light bulb appeared over her head and she practically ripped it off the hanger, telling her mother to find a nice pair of slacks, a white shirt, and a tie to go with it.
She thrust the outfit into his arms and rushed to her own bedroom to find a tight black dress and her leather jacket. As it was a bit cool out, she also threw on some tights so her legs weren't completely bare.
They met back up in the family room and Eisley's breath was taken away by the sight of her boyfriend. The impromptu Bruce Wayne costume she'd thrown together looked fantastic on him. When she got to him, she pushed his hair back away from his face and smiled at him, and she received a cute little smile in return, as well as a peck to her cheek.
"Now, just who are you two supposed to be?" Vanessa asked, hands on her hips.
Eisley smiled cheekily. "Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, of course," she said, linking arms with John.
"And I'm a demon!" Eriqua yelled, dressed all in red and stomping into the room armed with her candy bag and a plastic pitchfork.
"You got that right," Vanessa muttered to her eldest daughter and her boyfriend, making them laugh.
