"Please don't leave." I wrap my arms tighter around Andrea's leg.

"I have to go, Andy," Andrea tells me, leaning down to pry me off of her legs. Glenn giggles at the sight in the background.

"But... what if you don't come back?" I question.

"I pinky promise to come back," Andrea tells me, holding out her right hand.

I loop my pinky finger with hers.

"I love you, sissy," I tell her, wrapping my arms around her neck as she kneels.

"I love you too Andy." She tells me, giving me a large hug before pulling away. "Be good for Amy."

I nod, giving her a mock salute that causes us to both laughs

"Be safe," I tell her as I watch her walk towards the car that they were taking.

I feel a hand on my shoulder causing me to look up.

"She'll come back. Why don't you go and play with Carl." Lori tells me.

"Okay, Mrs. Grimes."

"Amy, I'm tired," I announce as I approach Amy who was sitting by a fire, cooking lunch

"Amy, I'm tired," I announce as I approach Amy who was sitting by a fire, cooking lunch.

"Did you take your medicine?" She questioned.

"No, Andrea forgot before she left," I tell her, watching as she sighs.

"Okay, let me pass this off to someone and we can settle you down." She tells me, waving Lori over. "Hey, can you finish this, I need to deal with Andrew."

Lori lets out a nod and replaces where Amy once sat.

"C'mon." Amy hoists me into her arms and carries me to our tent.

She sits me down on the cot and roots through my backpack, searching for the little capsules.

"Here." She places one capsule into the palm of my hand and hands me a water bottle.

I place the little pill on my tongue and take a swallow of water to wash it down.

"Open up, let me see," Amy commands.

I open my mouth, moving my tongue so she can see that I swallowed the medicine.

"Very good Andy." Amy praises as she packs the medicine back up. "Now, does anything hurt?"

I frown. I stopped playing with Carl because my legs hurt.

"No..." My voice was tiny and Amy could tell I was lying.

"Where does it hurt, Andy?" She questioned.

"My leg," I tell her. "This one."

I point to the leg in question and Amy reaches out and slides my jeans up my knee.
