Inhaling my Regrets (ON-GOING)

Chapter 3

I gulped and faced him, looking through his dark eyes.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"You didn't lost the baby, right?" he asked again

"I.....was just a-asking" I faked a smile.

He sighed in relief. He really doesn't want to lose the baby.

He held my waist, pulling me closer to him.

"I love you" he whispered. I heard him but I felt really tired for thinking that deeply. I didn't realized I dozed to sleep that early.

I woke up 6 AM and Raven wasn't here na, he left early again. I went downstairs to cook for myself but Manang Helen insisted again, she's really shy that I might do the work, she might think na we're firing her from her work or we're just paying her for nothing.

"Ako na dito anak" she insisted.

"Wag na, I can manage naman manang" In the end she just helped me cook, nahihiya kasi talaga si Manang Helen. I cooked food for lunch na rin, I ate my breakfast and told manang to eat with me but she said she 'already ate'.

I went upstairs and took a quick shower and wore my clothes for work.

"Madam, the meeting is about to start" Vinnie panicked.

"I'll be there in 10 minutes, tell them to stay put" It's so stressing, wala pa nga ako dun I'm feeling the stress coming na. Good thing it wasn't traffic baka 1 hour dating ko dun.

I was running and made it on time, the employees where looking at me with their brows raised, they were really waiting for me.

"Miss Molina, I hate to say this but we're actually on a rush too. Sir Ramos is a busy man, his time is gold and doesn't need to be wasted" The girl said getting irritated.

"Pardon me?" I was about to burst when Vinnie went to me and whispered something.

"Madam, he's dad owns the Ramos Company but it was entrusted to him because he's the heir of the family. They're three of them and he's the second son. He's an investor madam. And that's her secretary" I glanced at his secretary, and turned my gaze to Sir Ramos. He's attractive and hot though, he's so formal and his scent was invading the room, girls would definitely chase him.

I remembered being grumpy a while ago. I gulped, I wished it wasn't that obvious for being grumpy. I didn't know the meeting starts today, I thought tomorrow pa 'yun? I looked at him and saw him doing the same thing. Was he trying to read my mind?
I averted my gaze and sat on my chair.

"I mean! Pardon me for being late...Sir?" I asked, not knowing his last name.

"Sir Leon Vicente Ramos" Vinnie whispered.

"Didn't your secretary told you that his name was Sir Ramos?" her secretary sharpened her look, I totally forgot things when I'm nervous. The board members were looking at her. Pag ako di naka pag pigil, mamatay na 'to.

"Sir Ramos" I ignored his evil secretary's question and glanced at Sir Ramos "Uhm, so let's start?" he replied a nod, What a quiet type.

One of the board members started the presentation and I was so afraid that Sir Ramos won't accept the deal. I actually encountered this many times pero ba't parang kinakabahan ako?

I wasn't paying attention but instead I was watching Sir Ramos reaction. His face was blanked, he can't even smile in that state, focus na focus ata.

The presentation ended and I felt really nervous for his opinion about our companies presentation. We might end up losing the deal and I don't want that to happen.
