Restart: The Deal that Seemed Great

Creatures from Hell?

We both woke up to the sound of a group of officers surrounding us. "Young lady, what are you doing here? Where are your parents?"

I freaked out as I jumped on my feet grabbing my luggage in one hand and grabbing Grim to hold him like a purse between my arm and side. I looked up at the screen and my face fell, my train was about to leave any minute now!!! "Sorry to bother you gentlemen but I have a train to catch."

I was about to take off but one of the officers grabbed onto my arm, "Wait here, little girl." He said pulling to towards an area with fewer people. But of course, I wasn't going to let that happen.

I yanked my arm out of his grip, but my glare fell when I saw their eyes turned into a glowing orange and their skins started to crumble. The three of them  surrounded me as their teeth started to sharpen and they hunched over closer to me. It took me a second to process all that was happening as I watched the three officers turn into a creature I have never seen, a creature out of this world.

I looked down at my hand and noticed that the officer or rather thing that grabbed me took my glove off and was holding it in its hand. I had no spare, and I cannot risk having my hand exposed.

Ok maybe Grim does make a point with me, and how reckless I can be. What normal girl would launch themselves at a creature they have never seen before and looks like they literally came from hell to retrieve a glove. Well then again, that same girl is now living a life start out of a middle schooler fantasy book.

I may have made the riskiest decision in my whole two lifetimes, but I ran up to that demon looking creature and pushed it with my exposed hand and took my glove from its hand. I quickly turned and ran for the train but the other two caught me.

I looked around for someone to help but it was empty, I thought "Where in the world are the people!"

I struggled to get out of both of their grips. I pushed the thing with my exposed hand and Grim helped and bit the other one holding me down.

The one I touched with my hand shriveled up to dust as the other one Grim bit was weakened. I took this chance to rip my arm out of their hands and run for it. I didn't look back, in fact, I didn't have the luxury to look back.

All I heard was a weak grumble, probably from the creature Grim bit that said, "We will get you and take you to the boss..."

I couldn't help but start trembling when I heard that, but I continued to run. Suddenly while I was running the other people reappeared again.

I heard an announcement that my train was about to leave. I continued to run as Grim clung onto my shirt. "You really look like a madman running with that look on your face towards a train."

"Piss off pussy cat." I hissed as I jumped into the trains door as it closed behind me just in time.

The train moved as I took a quick glance at where those officers were, they were gone. My heart was beating out of my chest as I dropped to the floor to catch my breath.

Grim patted my head using its paw, "Good job Hazel, it looked like a scene straight out of a movie."

I threw the cat at the wall, but as I did a girl walked in and saw me.
