A few months have passed, and the pair are nearing the end of The Abroad Tour. The U.S.A Tour was a blast but The Abroad just kept making their lives better. Lance and Keith enjoyed their little downtime exploring cities and towns surrounding each destination. They were just being regular old tourists. During their free time, Lance stopped by a fancy jewelry store when they were in London. He asked for Shiro to keep Keith occupied for an hour so he could slip away.
"Welcome to Tiffany & Co.! How may I assist you today, sir?" An older gentleman asks Lance the moment he steps into the shop.
"Um.. I'm looking for an engagement ring," Lance answers shyly.
"Ah, well what are we looking for in terms of pricing?" The man asks.
"Price isn't really a problem."
"Very well then. Any cut, in particular, you're looking for?"
"Nope, just something special for hi- HER."
The sales clerk chuckles, "Okay, her. What is SHE like?"
Lance grimaces, knowing that the guy knows exactly what's happening, "Uh... she's very headstrong and confident on stage."
"Oh, she's an entertainer?"
"I guess you could call it that... More of a popstar."
"Oh, a famous girl?"
"Yeah."
"You trying to impress her by purchasing an expensive engagement ring?"
"No, no.." Lance looks down, "I just don't want to spare any expense. He's my world and I'm willing to pay anything."
"Well, I'm sure he'll appreciate anything you give him, even if it's cheap."
"Did you just?"
The sales clerk winks, "Your secrets safe, sir. Now, let me show you what I think she'll like."

The day was here. The final performance of the tour was just an hour away. Lance makes sure that the ring is safely secured in his pocket before he leaves the hotel room.
"Hey, you ready?" Keith asks, trying to tie half of his hair up.
"Yeah," Lance walks up behind his lover to help him, "Here, let me-"
"I got it, babe."
"You sure? 'Cause you've been struggling for like 10 minutes now."
Keith pouts, "You know my hair has a mind of its own."
Lance smiles and grabs a hair tie from the counter in front of the mirror. Taking Keith's soft hair in one hand, he manages to make a nice messy bun in a matter of seconds, "There you go."
"You got lucky."
"Uh-huh," Lance chuckles, "Let's go before Pidge chews us out for being late."
~~~
The moment was approaching fast. Only 10 minutes left. The final performance was nearly over. Just, waiting for the final song to end. And end it does. The moment the final song ends, the crowd erupts into cheers. Heaving, Lance takes the lead into closing the show.
"Thank you, Tokyo!" The cheers get a bit louder before Lance continues, "Before we end the tour and our show tonight, I would like to do something special... Something I've been wanting to do for a few months now."
Keith raises an eyebrow and mouths, "What are you doing?"
Turning to Keith, Lance starts to get anxious. He's really about to this. He takes a deep breath and looks at the crowd, "If you have a phone, I'd suggest recording this!"
"Lance? What are you-?" Keith begins to ask.
Lance gets down on one knee and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a small red, velvet-covered ring box. Keith's eyes go wide, face flushing red. He slaps a hand over his mouth in shock as Lance opens the box to reveal a red ruby platinum band engagement ring. The American takes another deep breath and asks the age-old question, "Keith Akira Kogane, would you do me the honor and make me the happiest man in the universe and-"
Keith with tears in his eyes, shakes his head yes, "Yes! A hundred times yes!"
Lance jumps up on his feet and slips the ring on Keith's finger before he gets pulled into a kiss.
The crowd goes WILD. Lance pulls away first but keeps an arm around Keith. He waves at the audience, "Once again, thank you Tokyo! Goodnight!"
With that, the lights dim and the pair walk offstage into the back. They're immediately grated by a sobbing Hunk and a silent crying Shiro. They turn off their mics as Hunk cries, "I'm so happy for you two!"
Pidge comes up being Hunk and pats his back, "We all are."
Shiro nods in agreement and wipes away his tears, "I never thought I'd see the day!"
Keith rolls his eyes, "You should've seen it coming!"
"Lance never told any of us that he was gonna do this!" Hunk cries.
Lance looks down, coy, "Well, I wanted to surprise everyone... I didn't want anyone ruining the surprise either."
"When did you even get the ring?!" Pidge asks.
"Back in London."
"That was 3 months ago!" Hunk exclaims.
"How did you hide it so well?!" Keith asks.
"Oh, I had some close calls," Lance explains, "Shiro was mad suspicious of me when I went to get the ring. I swear Hunk saw it one day and that gave me a heart attack-"
"We get it we get it!" Pidge interrupts. Everyone glares at her for a moment before she continues, "No offense, but I think we should be celebrating right now, not droning on about how well Lance did at hiding a ring."
"I mean, I guess that's fair," Keith agrees.
"Good, 'cause the drinks are on me!" Pidge hollers.
