HAPPY HALLOWEEN, MY DUDES! Please enjoy part three, some very exciting stuff is coming up, but it's gonna be kind of slow as school is kicking up for me, but I'mma try to keep updating whenever I can!-- Ariel
Heavy metal music blared through the speakers of Nicholas's car radio. He was driving about 80mph down the I-15, and there wasn't another car in sight. Stars were scattered through the cloudy sky, the Big Dipper was barely viewable.
Larissa turned the radio down, much to Nicholas and Tyler's disgruntlement. "Alright, so, it seems that the guy we're going to check out has reportedly been possessed for a while, and that several exorcists have met with and the demon still hasn't been exorcised from him."
"I guess that's why they called you," Tyler said, leaning forward and smirking.
Larissa beamed with pride. "I guess," she turned to Nicholas. "Aren't you excited that you get to see your first exorcism?"
"Elated," Nicholas said sarcastically, his eyes focused forward.
"Oh, come on," Larissa said, "You've gotta learn this stuff."
"I know, I know," he said. Nicholas turned the radio back up and continued driving. Larissa and Tyler began quietly chatting. Nicholas watched the road with tired eyes, he closed his eyes for a quick moment and nearly screamed when he opened them. In the middle of the road, an older woman stood, blood soaked through her clothes. He swerved the car out of the way and slammed on the brakes.
"What the hell?" Tyler asked. He looked at Nicholas with confusion.
"There's a woman in the road!" he explained. "She's covered in blood!"
"Where?"
"Right there!" Nicholas pointed to the middle of the road, where the woman stood. She was staring at him with dark eyes.
"Nicholas, there's nothing there!" Larissa said to him. "Right, Tyler?'
Tyler nodded, he looked at Nicholas with worry. "Nicholas, is this like the time that you saw that guy? At the séance we did?"
Nicholas nodded, eyes not leaving the woman, who had seemed to move closer.
Tyler sighed, looking up once more to where Nicholas had pointed. "Nicholas, let me drive for a while, you need to get some rest."
"No, Tyler—" Nicholas interrupted.
"Just let me drive," he said.
The two traded spots and Nicholas leaned his head back in the backseat. He sighed. "Tyler, you gotta tell me what I saw."
Tyler pulled the car back onto the freeway. "Nicholas, the problem is I'm not sure I know what you saw. I mean, in all honesty, I don't think you saw anything, but then again, I could be wrong." He gripped the steering wheel a bit tighter. "Listen, we can talk about it once we get to the motel, just try to relax, okay?"
Nicholas groaned, he closed his eyes. The image was seared into his brain, so there was no chance of him getting any sleep. "Turn the music back on, please," he asked quietly.
Larissa was annoyed, but she did as he asked, exchanging a glance with Tyler as she did so. The music was loud enough to drown out Nicholas's constant thoughts long enough for him to fall into a tormented sleep.

The trio arrived at a small motel just out of Boulder, Colorado as the sun was starting peak over the mountains. Tyler checked them into a small room and the two boys carried in the luggage.
