Tainted love

Mixed feeling

It was the middle of the day quite cloudy and a nice gust of wind, amity doing what she loved reading to the kids.

Five or so kids all sat together listing to amity's story that she picked out for all the little ones. They where quiet as amity told the story it was peaceful. The sunlight went through a glass window shining right behind amity.

Quite peaceful

"LUZ!"

Luz came running down the stairs "yes Eda? Luz said starring at her mentor "this might be a lot to ask but can you return my books?" Eda asked "yeah of course" luz replied as she grabbed the books and was off to the library, the sunlight lit her path to the library the light shining on her face making her look like she was chosen to do this.

Luz went inside the library and looked at the books "Romantic smut" luz read blankly "Eda is into this? Huh learn something new every day" luz said to herself as she went to the counter to return the books.

On her way to the counter sometimes caught her eye a room where kids gathered around and amity in the middle reading "what's that about?" Luz said as she watched from the back listing in on what's happening.

"And that's why kids you always do what your parents tell you even if they are abusive but none of you would know what that word means yet" amity said as she closed the book and puts it away. All the kids left the room leaving amity sitting at where she was reading the light still shining behind her, amity let out a sigh "even if they are abusive" amity told herself. Amity lifted her head up and saw luz watching her face went a dark red fast no one knew she liked reading to kids.

Amity got up the chair and rushed towards luz "what are you doing here!" Amity yelled quietly "just here to return a book for my mothe- I mean my mentor" luz corrected herself. Amity looked down at the book

"So a mentor helping a human to do magic and reads books that are for adults?" Amity said as she crossed her arms "I mean she's an adult so yes and hey I can do magic it might not be much but I can" Luz said confidently "yeah yeah whatever talk to me when you can actually do magic because I only associate with actually witches not no wannabe witch" amity said coldly and left.

Luz looked at amity as she left "why is she so mean?.... yet so cute" luz told herself but shrugged it off and went to the counter to return the books.

Luz left the library and walked back to the owl house "I'm a witch! I'm not no wannabe I am a witch I can do spells just fine!" Luz mumbled to herself as she walked along a dirt path to the owl house "stupid cute amity saying I'm not a witch" luz added as she arrived to the owl house and just in time because it was already night stars lit up the sky.

Luz went to her room and laid down but she couldn't sleep she had mixed emotions about amity what was it love? Hate? She was frustrated at what amity is to her a lover or a bully.
