Y/N POV

We finally arrive at the castle and all the boys were wide awake. "we're finally here" Adrian says as he looks out the window and back down at me, I smile at him and he smiles back. The train stops and everyone starts going down, first years getting out first.

Everyone goes to the great hall for the begging of the year feast. No one really seems to care about the sorting anymore so a lot of people were ignoring the hat as it yells what house the first years are in. I sat down with Draco to my right and Adrian to my left, across from me were Pansy and Blaise.

"you look really cute this year Draco," Pansy says "thank you," Draco says with a wink. Pansy liked Draco since our first year to third, she never did admit that she likes him but we all knew she did it was pretty obvious. I don't know if she still likes him.

The sorting was finally done and Dumbledore calls everyone's attention to him, he tells everyone about the 2 schools joining them this year then everyone brings their attention to the great hall doors as lady's dressed in all blue come in dancing then a bunch of guys come in but I stop looking at them as I notice a very handsome boy from Hufflepuff looking at me.

Draco gets jealous as he sees me and the Hufflepuff looking back at each other. I feel someone get close to my ear and the Hufflepuff looks away as he notices the guy getting closer to me. "admiring pretty boy Diggory?" the boy whispers into my ear. Of course, it's Malfoy. "what's his name?" I whisper back to Draco as he moves away from my ear "just call him Diggory" Draco says "your no help, I'll just ask him by myself after this dinner" I say as I bring my attention back to Dumbledore

I hear him talking about the goblet of fire, saying only one person from each school will be chosen and that anyone under the age of seventeen was forbidden from entering, the great hall gets loud at that moment everybody that's underage complaining. Dumbledore makes them be quiet again and then continues explaining that once dinner is over an hour later anyone who would like to join must come back here and out their name in the goblet of fire.

The feast finally begins and everyone starts eating. "There's really no point of needing to know his name Elliot, he graduates next year and he's seventeen, you love are fifteen," Draco says  "so? he can be my friend there's nothing wrong with that," I say "stupid fucking Diggory" Draco mutters and goes back to eating.

The dinner was done and luckily Diggory comes up to me. "hey, I was just wondering what your name is?" he asks "oh I'm y/n and you are?" I ask "Cedric Diggory," Cedric says "it's nice to meet you, Cedric," I say "you too, I was just wondering if I can get your number?" Cedric says as his voice gets lower and lower while asking that, he's looking behind me looking like he's regretting that he just asked me for my number, then I feel an arm come around my shoulders. Malfoy.

"hey Diggory," Draco says as he pulls me closer to him "Malfoy." Cedric says "anyways yes Cedric you can have my number," I say as I take his phone and type in my phone number "wait you and Malfoy aren't dating?" Cedric asks as I give him his phone back "no we're just friends" I say "yeah friends" Draco says and kisses my cheek "see you later darling" he says as he begins to walk away "darling?" Cedric says "he's a flirt," I say as I shrug "okay I'll text you once I get to my dorm, alright?" Cedric says I nod and then we both walk away in opposite directions.

Once I turn the corner to another hallway I feel someone's arm wrap around my shoulders again "Malfoy." I say "Elliot." he says "what do you want from me?" I ask "we're going to be playing spin the bottle back in the common room until we go back to see who the goblet of fire chooses, wanna join?" Draco asks "sure," I say as Draco and I continue walking together till we reach the Slytherin common room.
