"oh! y/n! we need to talk,"

July 1 (your 2nd day in Paris, France)

Y/N POV

"I haven't received one letter from Draco!" I say as I brush my hair in the bathroom getting ready to explore Paris with Adrian, "he might be busy- you're brushing your hair too roughly, here lemme help" Adrian says as he takes my hairbrush from me "I mean it's ridiculous!" I say as Adrian smoothly brushes my hair and I grab the hair tie next to me.

"Don't stress it, not while you're on vacation" Adrian says taking the hair tie from me and pulling back all my hair into a ponytail leaving two thin strands out in the front, "okay, yeah you're right- oh wow you're good at tying ponytails" I say surprised since i expected him to do a horrible job at it "yeah I tie my little sisters hair a lot, since my parents don't exactly have enough time for us"Adrian says "well Adrian I think you're a amazing brother" I say turning around to face him.

"yeah, just worried about ending up like my father when I have kids" Adrian says with the smile that was once on his face slowly fading, "Adrian, you're not like your dad and you won't ever be like your dad, your going to be a great father to your children, I just know it!" I say smiling at him "you really think so?" he asks with a smile coming on to his face "I know it! now let's get going," I say leaving the bathroom.

We first go to a lovely small cafe, where I order a chocolate-chip muffin and Adrian getting a croissant.

"y/n! didn't expect to see you here!" I hear an excited voice from behind me, I turn my head around to meet the eyes of the one and only Leo. "oh hey! you also came to Paris for vacation?" I ask as he shakes Adrian's hand before turning back to me "yeah, it's either here or Rome," Leo says smiling at me, I can see Adrian rolling his eyes at Leo's smile from the corner of my eye but I brush that off, "oh! Rome too! that's amazing, I've always wanted to go there, especially for my honeymoon in the future" I say happily.

"well you're always welcomed to come with us when we do go, but I should get going and I'll leave you two alone on your date," Leo says smiling at Adrian and me, "oh- no this isn't a date just two friends hanging out, right Adrian?" I say.

ADRIAN'S POV

Friends. That's all that she sees me as just a friend and nothing more-

"Adrian?" y/n asks snapping me out of my thoughts "oh- yeah, yeah friends," I say "oh well, I'll see you two back at Hogwarts when the year starts," Leo says "yep see you," both y/n and I say.

"Are you okay Adrian?" y/n asks once Leo fully leaves, "yeah, why?" I ask looking down at my food "you seemed to zone out when I called us friends, is there something wrong?" y/n asks worriedly "no! no! it's nothing, um we're going to the Eiffel tower at night, correct?" I ask "yeah! of course! it's most beautiful at night!" y/n says with a huge smile on her face.

I smile from seeing hers and we go back to eating.

The view from the top of the Eiffel tower is absolutely beautiful. "you can see so much stuff from up here!" y/n excitedly says, now is the time to do it.

"y/n," my voice comes out kinda shaky "what's up?" she asks turning her head away from the view to face me, I pull out the small box the ring is in from my pocket "y/n-"
