Y/N POV

It's now the day of Draco's birthday, he was getting gifts from 7 year Slytherin's all the way to 1st year Slytherin's. I went down to the great hall with Adrian for breakfast as Draco was too busy with other people coming up to him in the common room.

"doing anything today?" Adrian asks before taking a bite out of his toast "going to Hogsmeade with Draco, speaking of Draco I still didn't get him a present" I say as I look away from the letter I was writing to my parents to face Adrian "just get him cologne, candy, rings, or you can even write him a letter confessing your love" Adrian says in a joking matter "very funny you know he won't like a letter" I say "I would" Adrian says smiling.

"well, what time should you get going?" Adrian asks "we planned to go at 12 and that means I now have 10 minutes until I need to leave," I say as I go back to writing the letter to my parents "have your parents been speaking about me?" Adrian asks as he looks at the letter "yes, my mother would not stop saying 'it would be better if you were with Adrian but honestly it's okay to be with Malfoy' have a look for yourself" I say as I give Adrian the last letter from my mom.

Dear y/n,

Hearing how much fun you're having with Malfoy is great, but don't forget about Adrian. If Draco ever breaks your heart, who's going to comfort you? Adrian has always been the one to do that.

We truly do think Adrian would be a better boyfriend than Malfoy but we understand you like Malfoy, not Adrian though if you do like Adrian it's okay to say. We love you and can't wait to see you on June 25th when you come back for summer break.

Also if Adrian would like to spend the summer with us he's most definitely welcomed too, we will be going to France this year for a vacation, please show Adrian this letter and let us know what he says about going to France with us for the summer.

Adrian gives me back the letter before speaking, "going to France with you?" Adrian asks his voice sounding worried "yeah, you'll like to come right?" I ask "I'll love too but I don't know if my parents could afford the plane ticket," Adrian says, I chuckle before speaking "Adrian are you crazy! we're inviting you to come with us we're not going to make you pay the ticket, my parents have got that covered" a bright smile comes onto Adrian's face but slightly drops after 2 seconds.

"Are you sure your parents could pay for me too? I don't wanna cause any trouble—" I stop him from speaking as I begin speaking "we wouldn't invite you if we couldn't afford it, you're coming with us." I add into the letter that Adrian would love to come with us before folding it and giving it to Ellie and she flies off.

"well I better get going," I say as I hop out of my seat "see you later?" Adrian asks "see you later," I say with a nod.

ADRIAN'S POV

Malfoy is definitely going to get jealous about me going to France with y/n. Yes, I like her so I shouldn't care if I'm the one who gets to go to France with her, though Malfoy most definitely would, and knowing him he wouldn't be shy to destroy my life though I'm not sure if y/n would still be with him if he ever did that.

She has cared about me more than Malfoy and has been there for me no matter what. Ava too of course and speaking of Ava I see her and her new boyfriend sitting 2 seats away from me.
