Y/N POV 

I wake up to find Draco not next to me anymore. I look over at my nightstand and find a note.

You fell asleep once I begin reading the book. Don't know what that's supposed to mean is my voice really that boring?

Anyways I left once you slept so Parkinson doesn't tell Liam that I was with you or think anything else.

I'll see you at the great hall in the morning.

I set the note back down and look at Pansy and Daphne's bed. They're both not here meaning they're still with the guy they were with last night or they already left to the great hall.

I quickly get ready and throw on my skirt, white button-up, and robe. I grab my black shoes before running out of the door.

I walk quickly in the hallway and accidentally bump into someone. "Woah what's the rush?" George asks "oh I'm sorry George I'm just nervous right now, I'm breaking up with Liam," I say "oh you saw Parkinson's story?" George asks "yup," I say "okay, well you better get going and good luck," George says "thank you, George, I'll see you around," I say as I walk away "see ya," George says going the opposite direction from me.

I walk into the great hall and it wasn't that crowded since not a lot of people come for breakfast. I walk over to Liam who's sitting at the Hufflepuff table talking to a few of his friends. "hey, Liam," I say as I walk up to him "oh y/n I need to talk to you" Liam says as he gets up from where he's sitting "okay, um, go ahead" I say "privately" Liam says as he stands up and holds my hand.

He pulls me out of the great hall and into a clear hallway. "y/n I think I lo-"

"no, don't say that," I say "what? why?" Liam asks "Liam you kissed another girl last night I saw it," I say "I'm sorry I swear I'm so sor-"

"Liam I think we should break up this isn't working out," I say, he stays silent just staring into my eyes.

"do- do you mean it?" he asks finally breaking the silence "yeah... are you okay?" I ask "I don't know my girlfriend just broke up with me what do you think?" Liam says "oh my god boys and their hearts falling in love after a month" I mutter "you're serious right now?" Liam asks with his eyes getting glossy "Liam don't cry" I say "I'm gonna go" Liam says as he walks away.

"Liam-"

"you broke up with him?" I hear someone ask from behind me. I turn around quickly to face the boy "yeah," I say "how did that go?" George asks "not too bad, I guess," I say "you need a hug?" he asks as he puts out his arms "sure," I say as I hug him and he wraps his arms around me.

"I better get going to class," I say as I pull away slowly "okay, if you need me I'll be at the Gryffindor common room hiding from Snape," George says "what did you do this time?" I ask "you'll see," Geroge says with a wink.

I walk into potions class, Liam isn't here. I look at the board to see our new partners since we get new partners every month. I begin to look through the board until I find my name.
