Chapter 8: Hanging out

With his whole body turned towards me has he says "Are you sure you're okay? Or did I do something? If so I'm sorry. Just talk to me."

Feeling a bit confused I say "What? No you didn't do anything, silly. Sorry sometimes I just get stuck in my head and tend to be a bit quiet. So I'm sorry. I suck at long car rides."

Relive overcomes his face as he says "Oh thank god, No that's fine. We just have stuff to learn about each other that's all. No that's alright now I know that."

With a smile I say "Yeah, you would know if I was actually mad or upset about something"

With a fake scare face he says "Oh no, I'm terrified. I never want to find out what your like when your mad!"

Then I decide to turn my body toward him and say "But now can I ask you a question?"

I see his eyes light up a bit "Of course. Hit me with it"

I smile a little and say "Well about earlier your not upset about my stupid joke about us looking couply, are you?"

This time his smile reaches to his eyes and he puts each of his hands on my shoulders and looks straight into my eyes and say "No Rose I'm not upset about that, I promise. It just took me by surprise and I find it sweet we're matching."

I feel a little bit of a weight be lifted off my chest by his words
"Really? It is cute we're matching but you do know it annoys some people, right?" I giggle

He tiles his head as I giggle and I see something flash in his eyes but I can't place what it is.

With his now tiled head and smile still reaching his eyes he says "Yeah so? You know what I say to that?"

With hiccupy giggles and and a big smile I say "What?"

He squeezes my shoulders lightly "I say fuck em all. Why does it matter what they think? They can suck my dick. I don't care what they think and you shouldn't either, alright?"

Still giggling between words "Your right. Fuck em. They can fuck off. We shouldn't care what others think!"

With me still a little bit to hyped up I go in to hug Red then as I have my arms around him and feel his chest on mine I realize what I had just done. As I'm about to pull away I feel his arms go around me and I start to get on overwhelming warmth.

Red puts his head on my shoulder and I feel his breath on my neck and I feel so safe and comfortable that without realizing I close my eyes involuntary and give him a little squeeze and force myself to pull away from his warmth but only get a couple inches between us before realizing Red still had his arms around me.

I look up at him and he is already looking down at me and I say "So did you ever want to actually skateboard or?"

He looks into my eyes then notice him give my lips a quick glances then back to my eyes and smiles "Yeah but you hugged me and your cold anyways. We have time . The skatepark isn't going anywhere". At that I'm the one giving his lips a quick look then turn my head to look out the windshield and say " That I did and it seems that your happy I did, and I was cold but not anymore thanks to you but still it's getting late and-"

He gives me a quick tight squeeze and then let's go "your right it is getting late and I'm glad I was able to help" he says with a wink. But then he stares deep within my eyes like he did the first time we meet but this time I look away and grab my skateboard and get out of the car.

I walk around the car and hear Red get out of the car and hear him open his backseat door and grab his skateboard and come up next to me so we're walking together we're half way there when Red leans down to my ear as we're walking and whispers in that silky deep voice" I sure am excited for today"
