I wake with a start when I hear the front door shut. I roll over to grab my phone and with half closed eyes I see an overload from all my social medias and 3 texts from Red, and 1 text each from my 3 closes friends, and 7 texts from our group chat. I groan and shut my phone off and roll back over.
Then I hear my mom yell "Rose? Are you home?"
I goan and in a raspy voice I say "Yeah I'm here"
I hear foot steps to my door that stop, then I hear my mom knock "hey honey, can I come in?"
I groan "Yeah, that's fine. Come in"
My mom opens the door and looks over at me "Oh sorry, hon
Did I woke you?"
I give a husky laugh "Yeah a little but that's fine. You woke me at the perfect time. What's up?"
"Well tomorrow is Sunday, and I just wanted to make sure your starting to pack. Also wanted to know if you want to have a family night/day."
I sit up and yawn "mmm, yeah I was going to start packing tonight and finish tomorrow. A family night sounds cool to me."
"Okay okay, good so we can watch a movie together and we can order food and-"
I giggle "Okay okay, mom. I get the idea. It all sounds great to me. I'll get up in a sec and help set up this family night."
She smiles "Okay, sweety. I'll leave you be. See you in a little bit. Love you"
Shit there's that love you again
"Okay mom. OH and mom?"
"Yes, sweety?"
"What time are you guys dropping me off at the school?"
"Probably around 7-8 am,"
"Okay sounds good,"
With that my mom leaves my room
I lay back down and grab my phone ounces more and look at my texts.
I click on my close friends texts first
From Emi: hey, dickhead. What happened to you? You still alive?
