I hope you're having a lovely day today! 🍓🍓🍓

Tsukishima finally made his way back to Karasuno where Yamaguchi was waiting patiently for him. Holding his belongings and a box wrapped in a crescent moon wrap.

"You're lucky that practice was cancelled," Yamaguchi smiled. Oh yeah... Tsukishima forgot about the gym inspection today. Tsukishima's mood slightly lifted at the thought of not having to see anymore idiots that day.

Tsukki took his bag but asked Yamaguchi about the box.

"Oh! Well um I found it on Emiko's desk after class had been dismissed. I think she tried to gift it to Seiji but you know..." Yamaguchi trailed off.

"I see. Give it here," Tsukishima said as he held out his hand for the box. Just like her. Yamaguchi glanced at Tsukki weirdly before handing over the box.

"Thanks." Tsukishima unwrapped the bento box and sneered. Inside were two heart shaped onigiris, an omelette with a heart made out of ketchup, a few veggies, and finally some strawberry flavored pocks. Tsukishima almost felt pity for the girl. She must have worked hard for this. Then he remembered their earlier encounters and shook his head.

"Should you really be eating that? I mean it wasn't meant for you," Yamaguchi said while watching Tsukishima take a bite out of one of the onigiri. Yamaguchi waited for Tsukki to finishes chewing and handed him a bottle of water.

"Trust me, she owes me this."

Huh? Yamaguchi thought. He checked his watch and  remembered something that he thought about earlier that day.

"Hey Tsukki, I was planning on going to the Hoshiko Cafe a few blocks away, would you like to come?" Yamaguchi quietly asked.

"The Hoshiko Cafe? I've never heard of it," Tsukki blankly stated. He took a few more bites out of the lunch before putting it away in its wrap and placing it inside his book bag.

"Yeah it's not very popular but I've heard that their pastries are really something to behold."

Tsukishima gave it a thought before asking, "Do they bake strawberry shortcakes?"

Yamaguchi scratched the back of neck. Truthfully, he wasn't sure but he didn't want to walk alone into a new place all by himself.

So he lied.

"Uh, y-yeah they do!"

Tsukishima raised his eyebrow before straightening up, signaling Yamaguchi to lead the way.

After quite a bit, the two boys finally reached their destination. Yamaguchi signaled to Tsukishima to take of his head phones.

"This is it!" Yamaguchi sniffed the air, it smelled so sweet and of freshly baked bread.

His mouth watered at the thought of all sweet delicacy. Tsukishima noticed the homey feel to the cafe. There was a soft glow to the cafe. No wonder I didn't know about it. It seemed to be a place that depended on the regulars.

"Alright! Let's head in!" Yamaguchi exlaimed as he waited excitedly for Tsukishima to walk in first. Tsukishima glanced at his friend and sighed.

As they opened the door a small bell introduce their arrival. Even the bell sounded warm... if that makes sense?

It smelled even better on the inside.
