The Glyph Of Love

Amity's POV:

I looked at the two girls cuddling in her closet, 'you're welcome, Boscha' I thought. "Wake up, love birds!" I said, "if you keep sleeping you won't be able to fall asleep all night!" "okay, okay" Willow mumbled. They got up and kissed, they're adorable. We got to watch a movie, for some reason at Boscha's room. They were cuddling and sharing a bowl of popcorn. I, on the other hand couldnt stop staring at Luz, her laughter was beautiful, her cuteness was indescribable, I put my hand in my pocket and I felt the note, 'its all going to be ok' I thought. We ate snacks and laughed, and then we went to bed. Boscha and Willow were sleeping in the same bed, hugging.

I heard Luz crying and I ached. "Luz" I said "are you ok?" I was worried about her, "yeah" she answered, in a weak voice. "well, no, not really" we came over and sat at her bed "she's gone, and she will never come back, but it doesnt matter, because she wasn't even real. She didnt actually like me" she took a photo of them and ripped it up. She fell asleep, crying, and I just sat there, staring at her, she's so beautiful.

Boscha and Willow sat next to me, hugging me, my eyes were filled with tears, trying to tell her how I felt, but no voice came out. Willow picked up the picture off the floor: "it's crazy how much she looks like you" she said, "I mean, if Belos was creating Luz's perfect girlfriend, and she looked like you and acted like you, then, isnt Luz's perfect girlfriend you?" "yeah, I guess, but it doesnt even matter because she doesnt like me back." I said. Boscha and Willow hugged me one more time and then they went to bed, I stayed to stare at her for a little more.

Next thing I know, it was sunrise, but I didn't even feel tired. And then Luz woke up, it was like a jump scare, I quickly lied down and almost fell out of the bed. "oh hey amity" she said, while smiling "sorry if I scared you last night, I was just tired and emotional" she helped me get out of bed and our noses touched. I almost fell out of embarrassment. "LUZ! I- you slept well?" "yeah, pretty much!" we ate breakfast and then went home. Oh, right home the owl house. "Amity wait up!" Luz catches up with me, great. "are you, mad at me or something?" oh no.. is that what she thinks of me? "no! not at all!" "ok" she says, her face getting sad, she doesnt believe me. and my heart is about to break.

"want to be my new roomie?" Edric and Emira have the spare room, and it probably sucks sleeping on the couch, because it's practically alive" what do I do, what do I do, what do I do, what. Do. I. Do. "yeah sure" why did I say that. Ugh. "okie dokie" she said in her beautiful voice "now let's get ready for school roomie" I awkwardly thumbed up her and we kept walking.

I watched her go into the owl house, her hair shining in the sunlight, she's so beautiful. She changed to her school uniform while I was staring at the floor, probably blushing like crazy. 'even if I could ask her out, I'm not sure I wouldve wanted to' I thought 'I dont want to be her rebound.' I quickly changed and kissed Edric and Emira goodbye, and quickly ran out.

I was going to school, but I saw a bunch of people throwing spell balloons on the side path, so I decided to take the bus, bad idea. I saw Willow and Boscha on the bus, Boscha sitting in Willow's lap, they were talking to Gus. I cane and sat by them "you're welcome, Boscha." I said, she smiled at me and blushed. the bus stopped I saw the cops get on the bus, and I knew something bad was about to happen.

The cops went through the seats of the bus, he looked at me, then at one of the posters in his hands, then at me again. I'm in trouble. "its her!" He yells "get her" I slide under his legs and start running in an attempt to get off the bus, Willow, Boscha and Gus tried to help, while everyone just sat there, clueless of what to do. But, to no avail. They got me. I felt as the will to exist drained away from me. "tell Edi and Emi I love them" I managed to say one moment before my face and my eyes were covered, and I was taken away. I heard a door shut and a cold hand touching my shoulder "amity" I heard a cold voice saying, it was my father's. "dad" I angerly said "you will be staying here, you dont belong in society." He said. What a monster.

There I was, tied up, on the floor, left there all alone. A cop came in my cell "where are Edric and Emira Blight?" he angerly asked "I.." I hesitated "I will not tell you that." "one more year!" he yelled, frick. They put these gloves on me, I tried to spell my way out of there, but I couldnt. I lied down on the floor and looked at the ceiling. I looked out of the window, it started raining, hard. All I had to do in that moment is wait.
