Chapter 1 Leaving

Adalyns POV

I wake up early in the morning to see that my bags are already packed. I freshen up and go downstairs and see that mom already made breakfast. She welcomes me to the kitchen so I eat breakfast in almost one bite and get ready to say bye to my friends. Before I leave mom tells me to be back by 6 so we could go straight to the airport. Once I finish I realize how much im really going to miss my friends, especially Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn has always been there for me ever since kindergarten. But now that my mom got a job in California we have to move.

Once I get back, mom and my sister, Sophia, were already at the door all packed up, waiting for me. Once I get my bags, we head in car and get ready for a looooong ride.

*3 hours later*

We arrive at the airport we go through all the crazy metal detectors and crap, then we head on the plane so i instantly plug in my headphones and prepare for a long ride.

*6 hours later*

The whole plane ride was a huge wreck! Sophia kept screaming and jumping the whole ride! If i got off any sooner i think i would had my ears blown off. I couldnt even sleep for 5 min before she got up and started bothering the whole plane with her joyful screams. To be honest i think she was the only one who enjoyed the ride. At least mom fell asleep for at least 30 min. We leave the airport and stop at a few stores then head to a hotel and rent a room. Once we get in i jump on my bed and fall asleep, not bothering to unpack my bags or take off my shoes. I let myself dream of what this will be like.
