I mentally shrugged while I'm looking straight from the monitor. Hinahayaan kong maglaro ang aking mga daliri na nasa aking mga tuhod. Kasabay noon ang pasimpleng pag-irap ko sa lalaking kanina pa panakaw-nakaw ng tingin sa akin.

Pinandilatan ko siya ng mata. "What?" yamot na bulong ko.

Can't he see that they're all distracted with his presence alone? And this, his freaking behavior infront of a meeting. Their elders' oganization meeting!

Nag-angat ito sa akin ng kilay bago tamad na tumingin sa nagsasalita sa harap. I don't even know why I'm here. Ang alam ko lang, hindi ko mairehistro ang mga bagay na sinabi ni Danger sa utak ko. Oh crap, give me a break from my awkwardness because after he said those god-knows what words, I didn't get the chance to speak because a freakin' elder dashed in the control room. Nahiya na nga siguro ang kamatis sa mukha ko ng oras na iyon!

And here I am, got no choice but to join them.

"Continue." he said with authority. Napatikhim ang ginang na kasalukuyang napatigil at namamawis pa ang sentido.

Just how intimidating this man could be?

"So I was saying, we should push this project forward. Not only because it's beneficial--"

"Three reasons."

Napatingin kaming lahat kay Danger na nagputol ng presentation.

"Mr. Hebrews?" anang presentor.

"Three reasons why I shouldn't turn this project down." malamig at malalim na anito.

Napaangat ako ng kilay. Is he even listening in the first place?

"But this was the council have decided to--"

"Two." he counted. I mentally frowned. This is so him.

Natahimik ang ginang at nagdako ang tingin sa isang lalaki. Tila nanghihingi ng saklolo.

"Please reconsider the offer, Mr. Hebrews. We all putted our efforts in this--"

"One." he nonchalantly said.

Kunot noo ko siyang tinignan. I almost thought that leaders were considerate but hell no, this leader is showing his ruthlessness. Hindi ko namalayang napairap ako sa kaniya ay hindi inaasahang nahuli niyang ang mga mata ko.

"Mr. Hebrews, there's no project for the entire year. Are you sure you'll put this down?" boses na ng lalaki ang nagsalita. Hindi ko maalis ang tingin ko kay Danger gayon din siya sa akin. Oh, I'm out of their meeting desk by the way. Nasa upuan akong nasa malapit ng pinto. I choose to sit here even that freaking man disagreed.

Inangatan ko siya ng kilay at ipinilig ang aking ulo. Nangunot ang kilay nito sa pagtataka ngunit nagbalik din ng tingin sa kasalukuyang mga nakatayong myembro. He then held his nose bridge.

"What you're pursuing is too much." malamig na pahayag. Puno ng pagtutol ang mukha ng babaeng nagpipresinta kanina lang.

"Too much for your own benefits." tumalim bigla ang tingin nito sa lalaking nagsalita kanina. The way he stares can make anyone literally shiver. Napalunok din ako doon.

"W-What do you mean?" anang lalaki. Danger raised a brow and tap the table in sudden.

"Seriously? Are you planning to formulate a virus? You may be a scientist, but watch whom you're discussing this matter with." he stated that made the table in silence. Revolving with two ambience, shame and failure.

"Meeting closed." huling anas ni Danger bago tumayo ngunit nanahan ang tingin niya sa lalaki kanina. Now I'm thinking if where I have seen that man. He's kind of familiar.
