.....she nodded yes slightly....
Ratan became overwhelmed by her reaction. He tried to control his excitement.
Ratan: Then... why didn't you confess this before?
He asked softly. She remained numb. He raised her chin up and she looked into his eyes.
Ratan: Tell me...
Diya: I-I... was to confess on reception night, .. but I heard you saying you don't have any feelings for me to friends... so..
Ratan: What! So, for this reason you didn't approach me? Talk to me? Umm... like seriously for this you were rude to me!?
He was completely surprised and started to laugh. She gawked at him.
Diya: Why the hell are you laughing?
Ratan: Is this a reason for you to not confess your love?? You could have just said what you are feeling towards me!
Diya: What you... I don't get it.
Ratan: I am saying that you should have proposed me that day! Even i could have accepted the proposal!
He chuckled as she stood dumbstruck. She felt like time stopped for a moment. Her heart raced up on his remark.
Ratan: Diya, Its true that I didn't have feelings for you but... after you left! you know how much you were troubling me?? You were just ruling my mind. I couldn't take your thoughts away from me. Till you came back, I didn't understand these feelings are out of love.... (gluped) i have totally fallen for you..... I-I don't know how to express more... W-When you didn't turn up from the factory, I was turning mad. I got so scared... I can't take if something happens to you...
His eyes gleamed in love for her. She stood froze on the spot like a thunder hit on head. His revelation was sweet as honey for her ears but her heart found it sour. He got close to her.
Diya: I don't have any feelings for you now.
She snapped. His brows frown.Ratan: Enough of this games, Diya.
Diya: I am saying the truth. I have completely changed myself. I don't want this.
Ratan: Diya... You are overthinking. Don't confuse yourself-
Diya: I am serious Ratan. You don't have any place in my heart. It's over. Long before.
Her expressionless stern face hurted him but he tried his best to convince her.
Ratan: It was my fault to realize it late. I don't know how much you would have suffered because of me. Now, I am ready to repay back with love. Please understand me.
Diya: Ratan, that's past. Now only my job and career is in my vision. You please understand this.
Ratan: Diya, you are hiding your feelings. You love me. I have seen it.
Diya: I have said once. That's it. Please leave me alone.
Ratan starred at her for a moment and went out of the room. She gulped and sat on the bed.
