~Wedding gala - Happy ending ❤~
At the resort,
Shylok was walking to his room. Through the window, he saw fairy lights were gleaming. He curiously moved towards the door and peeped. His eyes widened in delight.
He looked around in awe and sat on the bed.
"Semma le!" Durga asked standing near the door. She sat on his lap.
Durga: I worried that I couldn't trek with them but today I spent good time with ma. We had convo about my early childhood days.. I remember it with great nostalgic.
Shylok: You with two jundis!
(He raised her hair)
Haha! your childhood pics were adorable. The picture with u wearing uncle's shirt! Hahaha! That was sliding from your shoulders!Durga: That happened when pa, ma, uncle, aunty (Diya's parents) Diya and me went to beach. Diya was a toddler! While playing with water I totally got drenched. I didn't have dress to change so appa made me wear his spare T-shirt. Those memories... you know? A wave engulfed me! My heart beat stopped! I thought I would die! Somehow, Uncle pulled me out of the water.
Haha!Shylok: Acho! Hahahaha that was so funny! Once paati took three of us to beach. It was Ratan's first encounter with the beach. He excitedly went near the water.. when the waves came close, he ran like anything and fell on the sand! He cried loudly like all the crowd would turn and look at us. Then, Chandra and I tried to calm him... hahaha! That one!
Durga: How you calm him down?
Shylok: Hahahaha!
Durga: Solluuuuuu da!
She pinched him.
Shylok: Aahh! Solluren... Sand eh mandai le potutu irruthom! Paati vanthu semma adi kuduthanga ennakum Chandra kum! Athe paathutu semaiya sirichan Ratan!
Durga: Haiyoooo! Neenga moonu perum! Hahahaha!
Shylok: Memories are forever to be cherished...
Durga: Hmm...
They lay on the bed.
Durga: In my childhood days they seemed compatible and loving parents. But as I grew older, I understood those were fake.... As their daughter, I wanted them together. The inner me is still yearning for that, even knowing the bitter truth. Every child wants the parents with them.
Shylok: Hmm.... Our parents didn't look in our point of view.
Durga: Will we be good parents?
Shylok: Kandipa chello. Our situations have taught us the importance of parenting. We will keep our baby happier.
