[Mia's POV]

I could feel cold air hits my arm. I hear faint voices talking. My head stings and the back of my palm stings too. I hear Jin's voice.

I feel something was covering my mouth and nose. I was wearing an oxygen mask. Am I?

"I thought I would lose both of them," he said.

"We're relieved Mia is fine. She will wake up soon, Jin," I heard his mom's voice.

I slowly open my eyes and groaned when I feel a sharp pain in my head. I hold my head and didn't feel my hair. My head was bandaged.

"Mia?" I heard Jin's voice.

I got teary because of the bright lights getting into my eyes. I exhaled while slowly sit up on the bed. Jin held my hand and I hold his.

"Mia," Jin said.

"I'll call Dr. Kang," his mother said.

My vision was still blurry. Slowly, I regain my vision and everything was clear. Jin was sitting beside me while looking at me.

I took off the oxygen mask from my nose and mouth. Jin took it and put it aside.

"Hey," Jin said softly.

I hold his hand gently and look at him. Even though I was a little dizzy, I could see his face clearly and he looks exhausted.

"How's our baby?" I murmured.

"Baby's fine. Baby's fine, jagiya," he said. I exhaled with relief.

I slowly laid back on the bed and Jin press a button that brings the upper part of the bed higher. He took my hand and kiss my hand.

"I thought I would lose you, Mia," he said. I smiled blandly.

"I'm here, Jinnie. I'm here," I said while caressing his hair.

He came nearer to me and kisses my forehead. I felt the burden on my shoulders was brought down when Jin kissed my forehead. I felt warm and secured.

The room's door was opened from outside and Dr. Kang came in together with a nurse and also Jin's mom. I call Jin's mom eomma too since she asked me to call her that too.

"Mia? What do you feel now? Pain?" Dr. Kang asked.

"My head stings a little. My arms and hip," I told her with a soft voice. She nodded.

"It's common. Your head stings because there's a wound there. Your arms and hip because you fell hard on the ground. You have bruises at some part of your body," Dr. Kang replied.

"Ah, okay," I mumbled.

"Can you tell me what do you remember from the last time you were conscious?" she asked. I kept silent for a while to recall what happened.

"I-I was walking towards the exit of the courthouse with Hwasa and Jae-Hyuk. Um," I mumbled and stopped.

"And I was at the stairs when I suddenly heard a scream and a second later, I was in the air and fell on the ground. I remembered seeing all the camera flashes on me," I said. Dr. Kang nodded.

Dr. Kang explains to me what happened during the few days I am here in the hospital. I was asleep for four days and three nights.

She ran an ultrasound and also brain test on me while I was still asleep because it's rare to have a patient not waking up more than 24 hours and she was worried that I was brain dead.
