Broken Heart (Ch 1)

Juvia POV

"After a long day at the guild I can finally sleep and dream about my darling Gray!!" I entered my room and took a bath while thinking about what Gray must be doing. "Oh I can't wait to see him tomorrow!" After taking a bath I took one of my Gray themed towels and dried myself off. I put on my Gray themed PJ's I and while cuddling with one of my Gray plushies, I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up that morning with uneasy feeling but shrugged it off and starting thinking about what I should make for breakfast. "Pancakes sound really good!", I said as I took out some premade batter and added milk into it. After I finished eating I decided to head to the guild in hopes I would see my beloved Gray.

On the way to the guild I ran into Lucy, she walked up to me and said "Hey, Gray was looking for you, he's back at the guild." She said with a look of worry and pity in her eyes. "Oh, okay thanks!" I said while hoping he would confess his love for me as soon as I arrived.

While walking to the guild I kept thinking about why she looked like that while she talked to me. "Maybe she's jealous that Gray finally realised that he loves me! Yes that must be it." I said to myself while getting closer and closer to the guild. When I entered the guild I was greeted with looks of pity from everyone who saw me. I decided not to think much of it and I walked over to my beloved Gray who was sitting next to Natsu.

"Was there something you needed to talk to me about?" I asked Gray while smiling thinking that he was going to confess his undying love for me. "About that..." Gray said while staring at me. "Come with me." Gray told me as he grabbed my hand and took me outside of the guild. As he was leading me outside I became all excited thinking that he was too embarrassed to tell me he loved me in front of everyone.

When we came to a stop Gray looked at the ground for about a minute and looked up at me and said "I'm sorry Juvia, I can't accept your feelings."

Wait, what?

"Juvia, I don't see you in that way so I think it would be best if you just erased all of your feelings for me" Gray said while looking at the ground again.

What is happening?

"I don't see you as anymore then a friend." Gray said as he started walking away.

"Wait.., have you ever looked at me once as more then a friend...?" I said while trying to fight back my tears. "Sorry." Was the last word I heard as Gray walked away heading back to the guild.

I stood there for about five minutes as I tried to understand what had happened. I wouldn't be able to hold back my tears anymore. I ran and ran until the guild was no longer in my sight of view. "Why?! What did I do wrong!?! Please don't leave me!" I screamed and cried. After 10 minutes I looked up and realized it had started raining. Maybe I really am just some gloomy rain woman who doesn't deserve to love or be loved!

A few more moments went by when I felt a hand land on my shoulder. I turn around and see him, "Natsu?" I asked with tears in my eyes. "You okay Juvia?" Natsu looked at me with a worried expression I always see him give to Lucy.

"N-no, I'm not."
