Saying Goodbyes (Ch 5)

"What to pack? Should I bring a sleeping bag? No it's fine, I'm sure me and Natsu will be sleeping in inns." It was about 2 in the morning but I still haven't figured out what I should pack. "Maybe I'm just overthinking all of this...Ughh I'll just wake up one hour early and finish then." I decided that it would be better to shower now than in the morning. After my nice and warm shower I put on some light blue shorts and a white t-shirt. "Will this trip with Natsu really help me? Or am I just running away?" With those thoughts in my head, I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to the fifth alarm going off, I had set up about ten in case the first one didn't wake me up. "Let's try this again..." I whispered still not being fully awake. About 30 minutes later I had finally finished packing everything. "Let's see, three extra pairs of clothes...check, toothbrush and toothpaste...check, hairbrush...check, swimsuit just in case we end up swimming...check, a decent amount of money... check, and finally sleepwear...check. Okay that's everything! If I end up needing anything else I can just buy it." Since I still had time left before I needed to leave I made myself some chocolate chip pancakes and poured myself some milk. After that amazing meal I changed into my everyday clothes and by the time I was done it was time. "Okay let's do this!"

I made my way to the guild, on the way there I saw the well that I went to after what happened with Gray. After staring at it for a few seconds I continued walking and made it to the guild. When I got there I saw Natsu sitting on the floor in front of the guild. "Hey what are you doing? Where's master?" I called out to him. He turned to me and smiled. "Oh hey Juvia! I was actually waiting for you!" Natsu said while making his way towards me. "Sorry I'm late aren't I?" I asked. "Well you aren't the only one, I just got here like two minutes ago. I took a peek inside looking for you and when I couldn't find you I thought that Gramps would take it easier on me for being late if I walked in with you." Natsu explained. "Smart thinking!" I said laughing at Natsu's explanation. "Anyways, shall we?" I said opening the doors for the guild.

Me and Natsu walked inside the guild, I was trying not to pay attention to all the stares given to me and walked to where Master was. "Sorry for being late Master." I said while bowing my head. "Its okay don't worry about it. But on the other hand, Natsu didn't I tell you to make it here on time! You don't want me to tell Ezra about this do you?" Master said scolding Natsu. "WAIT I CAN EXPLAIN!!" Shouted Natsu looking terrified. Watching this is kinda sad, I owe him so I might as well get him out of this. "Master this is my fault, please don't get mad at Natsu! I asked him if he could accompany me to go pick out some new clothes, then I lost track of time and we ended up being late!" I yelled. "Oh, is that so? If that's the case I apologise Natsu. Thank you for acompanying her, it is very kind of you." Master said to Natsu with a thankful look. "i-it was no problem at all!" Natsu said while looking like he'd just seen his life just flash before his eyes. I couldn't help but let out a giggle. Master then told us to go say all of our goodbyes to all our friends. Natsu made his way towards Lucy, Ezra, and...Gray. I decided to make my way to Cana and Mira. "Hey Juvia." Cana greeted me. "Hello girls, I came to say goodbye, I don't know if you heard but I'll be gone for about two weeks." I explained while the two girls listened. "Oh, where will you be going! Asked Mira. "I actually don't really know but I am sure it will be lots of fun." I said while flashing a smile. "Well have a great time Juvia! Oh and take lots of pictures of what you do!" Mira then handed me a camera. It looks to be one of the cameras that require film. "Thank you very much! I'll make sure to put it to good use!" I said while I hugged Mira. "You have to promise me you show me all of the pictures when you get back okay!" Mira said holding out her pinky. "Okay you have my word!" I said as I hooked our pinkys together making a pinky promise. "Hey you better show me too when you come back!" Yelled Cana. We all laughed and I have them both one big last hug and I made my way to Natsu. He and lucy were still talking and then she gave him a hug. "Be careful Natsu, and don't forget to bring me something!" Lucy said as she laughed. "Haha, I won't." Natsu laughed. "Hey Natsu I'm ready to head out whenever." I said as I walked out of the guild. "Wait for me Juvia!" He excalmed. "Bye Natsu, be safe!!" Lucy yelled to make sure he could hear her. "I will!" Natsu said looking back at lucy while trying to catch up to me. "Hey thanks for saving me earlier. I appreciate it." Natsu said flashing me a smile. "It was no problem at all!" I said as I returned the smile.

Master gave us train tickets and after about 20 minutes of trying to push Natsu into the train he sat down on one of the seats. Master left and Natsu looked like he was dying. After about 4 hours we arrived at our destination. Motorville! I basically had to carry Natsu out and after 5 minutes out of the train he seemed to be back to normal. He pulled out the map and we looked around to see where we could go. "How about we go to DingDongDell? It's closest to us and its name is funny!" Natsu said laughing. "Sure." I said giggling. "Let's go!" We both said in unison.
