Not Thinking (Ch 4)

💙Juvia POV💙

A few seconds had passed, Natsu still in my arms as we were on the floor. For some odd reason I felt very safe holding him, it was like nothing can bring harm to me. Moments go by until I opened my eyes and realized what I had just done in front of the entire guild. Everyone's eyes were on me, it seems like Natsu was still shocked about what just happened. I looked around while my arms were still around him and my eyes catch someones elses. Gray. He looked at me in shock and when he saw me staring at him he made a straight face and walked away. "Oh god, what have I done..." I whispered to myself feeling tears form in my eyes. I need to get out of here. Now.

I got up quickly and helped Natsu up. "I'm so sorry!! I don't know what came over me!" I said while bowing my head. "It's fine...Are you okay?" Asked Natsu while looking off to the side. I can tell he was uncomfortable with everyone staring at him. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said sounding awkward. "Anyways I think I'll get going!" I said quickly  while speed walking towards the exit in hopes no one will call out to me. "Not so fast child." Came a call from behind me. I stopped for a second then turned around. It was Master. "Juvia I would like to speak to you, please meet me outside. Natsu you come too." Said Master as he passed me and made his way outside of the guild. Oh god, was Master going to scold me for making a scene in the guild! This day cannot get any worse! I made my way out of the guild with Natsu following behind. We soon spotted Master standing under a tree and we walked until we were both behind him.

After a few moments had passed Master had opened his mouth to speak. "Juvia, I understand you have been having a bad week." He said still not looking at us. "Y-yes that is correct." I said with a little bit of fear in my voice. "Relax my child I'm not going to scold you." He said clearly noticing the fear in my voice. "I have been thinking about sending you out on a quest after what happened. It's just I didn't want to send you on one alone." Master said turning around to look at me. "I think this could be great for you, to go and see the surrounding areas around us. To forget everything and face everyday with a smile. After what I just saw today I think it would be great if Natsu accompaned you on this quest." Master said softly. "But I won't force you to go if you dislike the idea. I'm just saying I think this could be great for you." He said waiting for my response.

"I think that sounds lovely." I said with a smile on my face. Wait. What had I just agreed to? I only said yes because I don't want to go to the guild anytime soon after what had just happened moments earlier. And I would be going with Natsu?!? What had I just gotten myself into! "Oh that's wonderful Juvia. I'm glad you understand. But Natsu are you okay with going with her?" He said this time looking at Natsu. "Of course, I wouldn't want her to be alone." Natsu said while looking at me with a smile. "Besides I'm sure it will be fun to head somewhere I've never been before!" He said with a big smile. After everything that has happened I'm surprised he is okay with going with me. "Okay meet at the guild at 8 am tomorrow so I can give you the map of places you guys could head. Don't be late NATSU!" Master said emphasizing on Natsu's name. I laughed a bit then heard someone coming towards us. It was Lucy. "Hey Master!! Sorry for listening in but do you think it would be okay if I tagged along with them two? It seems like fun!" Lucy said while looking at Natsu. Huh. I think I see what's happening here. It's not that hard to realize she has a thing for Natsu so I understand why she wouldn't want me alone with him after everything that happened earlier. Honestly I didn't really want her to join because she and Natsu would probably forget about me even being there. But Master is really kind and will most likely say yes. "I apologise Lucy but I think Juvia and Natsu will be fine on their own." Master said shutting down that idea. "Oh I understand..." Lucy said sounding disappointed and sad. Damn I did not think Master would reject that idea so fast without even thinking twice about it. "You all may go now. Juvia, Natsu, don't be late for tomorrow." Master said returning to the guild. "I'll see you tomorrow Natsu! Remember, don't be late!" I said laughing while I walked away. "What do people think I am!!" I could hear Natsu yelling which made me laugh even more. Maybe this won't be so bad after all. Who knows, maybe this is just what I needed! I hope this goes well.
