Embarrassing Misunderstanding (Ch 7)

"Oh we aren't in that type of relationship!" I said to the waiter while laughing awkwardly. "Oh that's a shame! But you never know what might happen in the future!" She said cheerfully. Was she not catching on that this was embarrassing!? Ugh! I want to crawl under a rock and just die already!! "What flavor is the lover smoothie?" Natsu asked looking genuinely interested. Are you serious? "Oh it includes strawberries and bananas!" Natsu I swear to god if you- "I'll take one" Natsu said smiling. "I'll bring one right away for the two of you!" The waiter said giggling.

You have got to be kidding me. I wanted to get mad but couldn't because I knew that he wasn't trying to make me uncomfortable but I still questioned him. "If you wanted a smoothie why didn't you just look at the drink menu?" I asked while smiling. "Oh I didn't even know that was a section on the menu." He said innocently. And just in time the waiter came in with the smoothie. "Here is your lover smoothie, please enjoy!" The waiter said as she was grinning at me. I was mad but at the same time I was super hungry so I just ignored him.

"Hey Natsu you can slow down you know! Your food is not going anywhere!" I said while laughing. He completely ignored me and continued stuffing his face with fish. I wonder if Lucy was completely used to him doing that.

I finished my cheesecake and found myself eyeing the smoothie Natsu had ordered. Maybe because I was very thirsty having some felt tempting but at the same time I didn't want to have any because Natsu is the one who ordered it, I don't think he got it intending to share. "If you want some you can go ahead." Natsu said with his mouth full of food. He must have noticed me staring at it. "Are you sure? It's yours after all." I asked trying not to sound desperate for a sip. "Yeah go ahead I don't mind!" Natsu said trying to reassure me that it was okay. I guess it's okay if I have just a little bit?

"It tastes more like banana than strawberries." I said while placing the cup towards him. "Oh that's too bad, I rather the strawberry taste be stronger." He said while picking up the smoothie. "Oh I already drank out of that straw, here have this on-" I couldn't even finish my sentence. Natsu was drinking out of the same straw I had! Does that mean, we just had an indirect kiss?!!? No no no no, don't be dumb Juvia! He probably doesn't even care about that kind of stuff and you shouldn't either!  

"Ugh you're right! It does taste more like banana! Huh? Juvia are you feeling okay? You're all red." Oh no was I seriously that embarrassed?! Without any warning he got up from his chair came over to me and put his forehead on mine. OMG Natsu you're going to make it worse!! "Hey are you running a fever? You just got hotter." Natsu said concerned. That sounds super weird out of context! "Umm yeah!! I'm completely fine!! Let's just pay and go!! It's getting a little hot in here!" I said just wanting to get out of the restaurant because people were starting to stare. How embarrassing!!

Natsu put the money on the table and we made our way out of the restaurant. My heart was finally able to calm down a bit the second we walked out. "Hey Juvia where do you want to go first?" Natsu asked while looking around. "Let's go in this direction!"

After walking for about three minutes I see a lake in a distance. "Hey Juvia do you want to go swimming!!" It looks like this town has a lake that can be used for swimming! "Omg look! There's even a swimsuit store!" I said while speeding up my walking pase. "Let's go check it out Natsu!"

We stepped inside the store and I see this adorable swim suit!

I also saw Natsu looking at some swim shorts with flames on them. It makes sense!

After trying on the swim suits we both paid for them and made our way towards the lake. I jumped in first and the water felt so nice! As  the sun shined on my face I turned to Natsu,"Natsu come in the water it feels so nic-"

*Snap*

HuH? I realized what just happened and I feel my face turning red. "Natsu did you just take a picture of me?!"

"Hehe! Payback!"
